I couldn't find any country-of-origin information on the product, except for "Made in China" on the pump. I am concerned about the quality and the increased misleading information on Chinese products. One major issue is the inflation PSI. While the web indicates 12-15 PSI, the attached manual specifies a different range at "around 10 PSI". I do not want to risk overinflating the gadget, and I think maintaining a pressure within the specified range is crucial. On top of the discrepancy, the attached pump meter indicates a yellow zone of 5-14.5 PSI, a green zone of 14.5-22 PSI, and a red zone of 23-28 PSI. This color-coded system has left me confused about how to correctly set the pressure on the SUP. The product's inconsistent information about PSI is a significant concern for me in terms of quality. I think there are at least three engineers involved. One for SUP itself, one for Manual, and one for the pump. The SUB's carrying handle in the middle is a very thin strap. It would be beneficial to have a more substantial handle to make it easier to carry from the car to the water. The fin construction is intriguing. The plastic clip system is functional well, and see the excess glue, while present, does not cause any performance issues. This is a single-fin design, as I own a three-finned version, which offers better control. But again, a single fin works ok. The carrying case appears to be made of inexpensive materials, and the excess of sewing thread is visible all over the places. Despite the poor quality, it serves its purpose. Overall, the product is satisfactory at the price range. It is priced at the lower end and meet the basic performance. I have not encountered any specific issues to use so far, but I do believe that the manufacturer should ensure information consistency among the manual, web, and pump indicator. ... show more

This SUP reminds me of my first one in some ways. It has everything you'll need to have a great time on the water and is a great place to start if you are new to the sport. Think of it as a "beginner" board. It is built to a price and that's a good thing if you either can't afford extra features or simply want to just get your feet wet and try out a SUP without breaking the bank. For some buyers, this an expensive toy for the kids to play on and they'd rather not spend hundreds of dollars on something they are not even sure will see a lot of use. This is about as cheap as they come, although I have seen some for less from time-to-time. Comparing this to more expensive SUP's is not a fair comparison. That said, it may be possible to find one around this price point that is a bit longer and wider and have more features. Still, this is a good choice. While this comes with a bicycle-type plunger pump, it is double-action, meaning it pumps air on both the UP and the Down strokes, saving you time. Nice! This 10' x 31" board fills up pretty quickly, but after my first year of pumping up my SUP, I graduated to electric pumps. So, don't worry, this pump works and you only need to give it 10-12psi for it to be hard enough to stand on. Bottom Line: This SUP should be on your short list if you are in the market for an affordable, attractive SUP with the basics to get you started in the sport. I think that this is a pretty sweet deal and a good value for what you get. You get a lot for your money. I even like the fact that it is lighter than other SUP's, making this easy to carry. This earns a solid 4.5 stars, since it is a good value. I'm happy to see boards in this price range available, as it means a wider audience can experience the joy of paddleboarding. This is a "no frills" board that will last for years with proper care. They are a lot tougher than you think. It'll hold a lot and you can experience your local lake in a whole new way for not a lot of money. No one will know how much you paid. It's great exercise too! Recommended ... show more

    • Can't get maximum air pressure due to pump leaking
When inflating paddle board when it's almost full. It leaks air from the pump to get maximum air pressure. Which leads to not enough pressure in the board which then leads to a deflated board on the water.

This paddle board was easy to inflate and was very thick, durable and of good quality. I have been very impressed with it. My children had a blast playing on it in the lake. It held six children on it with no problem, so it has a really good weight capacity. I wasn't sure what to expect from it since it is my first paddle board, but I have just been so happy with it and I'd like to get more of these. ... show more

This is a good board if you are strapped for cash. I use my air compressor to blow up because the hand pump is a little cheesy. I have a gage for my air compressor that lets me know how many lb. I have used. This is definitely a beginners board.
