  • Works for me and Vivienne Claire the Pug!
Style: Native Floral
The media could not be loaded. We go to a lovely lake a Oak Mt State Park in Pelham, AL, and this board is plenty roomy and comfortable for us both. Viv weighs 15 pounds and I weigh 135, height 5’ 7” for reference to how much weight is on the board. It’s quite sturdy and could easily handle more weight. In comparison to a hard board I have, which is 10’ 6” and 31” wide, it’s a slower ride and at times a little more difficult for me to navigate if the wind picks up. But that can be the nature of an inflatable and may be more rider dependent. What I love about this inflatable? The seller is in country and has resources to great replacement parts, which I haven’t needed yet and don’t expect to.😊 This board is super well made, and to me the top is totally impervious to Viv’s toenails. Anyone who knows Pugs know they hate toenail trims, so nails may be a little long before you schedule that next trim between paddle board time. I’m really impressed with the quality of the board, its accessories, and the honest ease of loading and unloading and reloading on trips out with this board. It gave me freedom to enjoy paddle boarding without a lot of hassle and at the drop of a hat. I don’t have to have help to load and unload. So ladies, this is lightweight and super easy to manage. Nineteen to twenty pounds is far less cumbersome than dealing with 30-40 pounds spread over 10 1/2 feet. Everything was well packaged to protect the board and accessories. It was double boxed, which is a must for this type of item. Everything was included as described including the matching board ankle leash! From reading Q&A’s, I didn’t think it was included and may not have been at some point. It was in my package. ***A MUST PURCHASE for maximum fun and efficiency !**** Just go ahead and buy an electric pump that inflates AND deflates. Who wants to be tired before you start? And if you happen to be carrying your dog, it’s less time in the heat and more time on the water. By the time you set everything up to get out on the water, your board is inflated. If loading up to go home, your board is deflated completely so you can fold it up and put it in the car/SUV/truck in about 90 seconds flat (or less). ***ANOTHER MUST PURCHASE*** PSA: If you take your dog with you, please get your dog a life jacket! Amazon is loaded with them! If you topple over, you have arms to grab the board; your dog doesn’t. (Pugs and plenty other dogs aren’t known for their swimming prowess.) And honestly if you get out on a lake with any board, get a life jacket for yourself. This board is great, but no board (hard or inflatable) is worth betting your life on ESPECIALLY if you ever paddle board on a large lake that allows boats or jet skis even if you stay near the shore. Unconscious people don’t swim. ... show more

  • Great value, all positive so far.
Style: Classic Woodgrain
We were shopping around for a SUP for a while, but because this was our first entry into SUP we didn't want to spend a ton of money, but we also didn't want to buy something of poor quality. The Drift had everything we were looking for: lightweight, backpack, ankle strap, good paddle, and good straps in the front and middle. We were reassured and sole when we saw this is made by Bote, so at least we could go to them if something went wrong. So far we've used them about a half-dozen times and have enjoyed it. Everything seems to be of good quality. The foam pad on top is peeling back a bit on the edge in a couple of spots, but I think a strong glue will fix it. The pump does a great job...takes 10 minutes to inflate manually, though we're getting an electric pump. The last time out I did hear a small air leak near the seam of the air hole. We went out on the lake anyway and didn't notice any air loss. If it continues we plan to use a strong seal glue or contact Bote for advice. I think this is a great quality SUP for anyone looking to get into the activity without committing too much money. ... show more

  • Best paddle board ever!
Style: Native Floral
This paddleboard is wide and stable. Perfect for a calm float on a gentle flowing river. I bought a kayak paddle for easy paddling while sitting. The original paddle is perfect for standing. The paddleboard deflates quickly and is easy to store and carry. It comes with a hand pump, but do yourself a favor and order an electric pump. ... show more

  • Substantial Sized Good quality paddleboard
Style: Native Floral
In the last several weeks, we’ve ordered two different branded paddle boards from Amazon. This drift paddle board was the first one that we ordered and tried out and it sets the bar at a good mid range level for an under $200 paddle board. What drew me to this paddle board was the size, value for what was in the package, in addition to the looks of this paddle board. I did not want a paddle board that had a lot of different detailed writing on it, I wanted something that was pleasing to the eye. I like that this one is a bit feminine / edgy. When looking at a paddle board for recreation, you want a good quality, high value board and looks matter in this equation. It’s hard to know when you’re a first time buyer and you’ve only shopped online the quality versus value. Drift seemed to be a brand that I had heard of before and it had good ratings so we went with this as our first paddle board for the family. I am very impressed. Even more impressed now that we also have an Overmont paddle board. We paid the same price for each one with a discount offered by Amazon. The quality of the Drift exceeds the quality of the Overmont. The only negative I can say about the drift paddle board, Is that the foam topper is glued to the actual rubber paddle board and is coming up at the place where it comes to a point. I tried gluing it down, but the tip of it is still unattached. This is just a small defect that doesn’t effect the actual use of the paddle board and can be rectified with the right glue. I love the fact that the case / backpack the board comes with is high-quality. The paddle board itself does not have needless writing on it and the logo is attractive anyways. The colors are cool and a bit edgy. The quality is definitely there. It’s easy to inflate with the Included pump. The instructions were easy to follow. As for performance, It is very easy to paddle and it goes in the direction that you’re intending with the three fins. Two people easily fit on the board you can both sit or one can stand and one can sit. You can even tow somebody on the board with ease. We had my younger daughter holding on to the handle in the back and she laid on her separate board. I paddled myself and my son on this drift board while towing the other paddle board . It worked perfectly and we were able to maneuver around a very large pond under a bridge and all around with ease. This is definitely a good board for teens and adults. I would like it better if all three fence detached, but only one does for storage. The other smaller fins, stay attached at all times and I fear that sometimes they could be in danger of being damaged during storage and transport. So far so good. I think we’ll get a lot of use out of it beyond the two times we’ve used it already. I’m very happy with this purchase. ... show more
