I am an experienced inflatable SUP user and recently bought the ROC paddle board for use on Lake Michigan. This board is fantastic! It's incredibly smooth and steady, handling the rough, wavy water with ease. The colors and design are stunning, making it a joy to use and show off. One of the standout features for me is how easy it is to pump and fit into the included bag. It's so convenient for transportation and storage. Plus, I'm totally obsessed with the dry bag that comes with it. I can bring my phone, keys, and wallet along without worrying about them getting wet, which means no more leaving valuables alone on shore. A major bonus is how well it accommodates both me and my 44 lb Australian shepherd. We fit perfectly on the board, and it's stable enough for both of us to enjoy the ride. (See photo :). Normally she lies down right on the ROC logo, but she was feeling silly that day haha). Customer service was phenomenal too! I had a question about the gauge on the hand pump, and they responded within 6 minutes with a solution. Truly an incredible experience across the board... No pun intended ;) For those new to paddle boarding, a tip: be sure to inflate it to at least 13-15 psi. It's much easier to maintain balance when the board is properly inflated. We were looking to buy a 2nd paddle board and I always thought our other one was ok. After looking at tons of others and reading endless reviews we landed on ROC and I'm glad we did. The board itself is great, it inflates and deflates quickly and packs up nicely. What was a really nice surprise was the quality of the backpack. The other SUP backpack was so cheap it fell apart almost immediately, this one seems much more well made and zips open much wider making it so much easier to pack the board back up. I also thought it was cool they included the dry bag, it's just big enough to stuff a sun shirt, water bottle, keys, etc. I also want to give a shout out to ROC's customer's service. We actually bought the board last year but only got the chance to use it starting this summer. I had originally unpacked it but I guess I didn't really pay attention and didn't notice that there was only one paddle end (you should get 2 because it also works as a kayak paddle) so when on our first outing I tried to put the paddle together and couldn't, we only had the kayak end which doesn't work for the paddle board configuration. Fast forward, we get home and I write ROC and tell them the story and without missing a beat, they say no problem we'll help you out. That's worth the price right there, so many retailers just ghost you, especially a year after purchase. I totally recommend this brand! ... show more
