Jim's wife here...I have been searching for an inflatable paddle board for quite some time. I was looking for something that was affordable, durable, could hold a significant amount of weight, and was easily portable/compactable. I finally, after deliberating for a year, decided to give Skatinger a try. I purchased the pink version of this board and loved it so much that after having it for two days I came back to Amazon to purchase the blue one. These boards are beautiful and better than what I was expecting for the price point. Airing them up: The process is easy until you get to the very end to push to the suggested PSI. I could do it, but it was exhausting. I tapped in my 16 year old son to help out. The second time I aired them up I learned my lesson and used our compressor to air them up most the way then used the included pump to tap them off. I will be purchasing a portable electric pump with a PSI gauge for the future. Usage: These are great if you need the extra width and ability to carry a heavier load. I was able to fit myself, my 9 year old, and my 30 lb dog on the board without issue. The board feels stable and moves through the water easily. The bag loaded with all the equipment is also easy to carry and not too heavy. I am 5'1" and carried it without any issues. Deflating: deflating was a breeze. I just released the cap and then when most the air was out I used the included pump to get the rest of the air out. Storage: Everything fits in the bag! This is a huge win. I knew in order to sell my husband on these I needed to find a board that did not take up much garage and boat space. I love that everything fits into one bag. Overall I am extremely happy with my decision to purchase two of the Skatinger boards and would recommend them to anyone looking for the same features that I was. ... show more

These are great paddleboards. Our friends got some for almost 3x the price and aren’t any better at all. I actually like these more especially in terms of sturdiness and ease of paddle. You’re not getting this to surf, so you want stability and paddle power. The bigger your craft is, the easier and faster it paddles. I’m 6’ 185lbs and my wife is 5’4” 135lbs and we both love them. Super stable for our dogs too. It’s also amazing they go in a backpack that is not that hard to carry at all. The hand pump is not hard either and we do it almost every time despite having a car pump. Also great the pump works in reverse to suck the air out like a vacuum to fold and pack easily. We also attached seats easily (they’re sort of like foldable seats for watching baseball games on bleachers or something) and they strap down great and are stable. Easy five stars for me and seems like a great bang for your buck. I do ridiculous amounts of research comparing prices and reviews before getting something and I’m totally happy with this decision. ... show more

This board is absolutely amazing. It’s longer and wider and therefore more stable and versatile than a lot of other boards making it perfect for fishing, yoga, sunbathing, taking the dog, and other activities. I’m 300 pounds and the board stays above water and the deck likely wouldn’t get wet at all for a smaller person. Setup takes 10 minutes for inflation if you’re slow, and cleanup is about 7 minutes. The board came with everything you need to go out and it packs into the perfect storage bag that could fit almost anywhere. It even included a dry bag and a phone bag! I LOVE that the fin has a screw to hold it in securely, but that screw gets tight. There is a slot for it to be loosened with a screwdriver but I didn’t have one and ended up fracturing my tooth loosening the bolt. Needless to say I have no fear of losing my fin in the water and I will be packing a screwdriver in the future. For the price this is a highly worthwhile purchase if you have a passion for being on the water. ... show more

Love the size of the board, it's stable in the water. It's sturdy yet lightweight enough for me to carry (I am small and not super strong). The colors and design are great, and the non slip padding on top is very helpful and comfy on the feet. We're first timers and were both able to stand up our first time out. I will be ditching the manual pump, it took too long and was pretty difficult for me towards the end, but other than that, we feel like this was a solid purchase. We were unsure of buying and inflatable because we have a bigger breed dog, but it seems like this will hold up well. Pup is 8 months, still plenty of room on the board. BUY THIS PADDLEBOARD!! As someone who meticulously researched all the paddle boards out there, I can tell you THIS IS THE ONE YOU NEED! I had several criteria I was looking for... it had to be big enough to fit me and my daughter (or me and another adult), good for beginners, easy to use, easy to carry (I'm a tiny woman), visually appealing, durable, stable, and affordable! This checks ALL the boxes!! I love that it also came with a phone case and bag to keep things dry! I also recommend you buy an electric air pump for fast and easy inflation!
