I have been wanting to get a paddle board for years now, and have done tons of research on regular vs inflatable paddle boards only to finally end up buying the ROC paddle board. I was a little skeptical just because of how affordable and compact this board is, but after taking it out on the water five or so times, I can safely say that this is one of the best watercrafts I’ve been on! It is lightweight enough for a weakling like me to carry, isn’t hard to inflate, is easy to clean, packs up like a dream, and fits in my closet perfectly! It’s a well-balanced board and the accessories that it comes with (paddle, paddle attachments, dry bag, and pump) are all well-made and easy to assemble/disassemble. I recently purchased three 10' Scout inflatable paddle boards from ROC—two as Christmas gifts for my best friends and one for myself—and I couldn’t be happier with this decision! While it’s not paddleboarding season just yet, (we live on Colorado) I couldn’t resist inflating mine to check out its quality and get my dog, used to it. First impressions? These boards are absolutely fantastic! The setup was easy, and the included pump and accessories are top-notch. The board feels sturdy and well-made, with vibrant colors that are even more striking in person. It’s lightweight yet durable, perfect for both beginners and experienced paddleboarders. The backpack included with the board is a nice addition. It’s large enough to carry all the accessories—paddle, pump, leash, fin, and the deflated board—with ease, and it’s comfortable to wear. It is definitely going to make transporting the board and accessories more convenient. While I haven’t taken it out on the water yet, I can already tell it’s going to be a game-changer. My dog is already a fan—he hopped on as soon as I set it up and has been lounging on it ever since! The large, grippy deck pad provides excellent stability, which is perfect for paddling with pets or for anyone who wants extra balance. Overall, I’m thrilled with my purchase. I can’t wait for warmer weather to take these boards out with my friends and enjoy some fun paddleboarding adventures. Great looking that board is well made and easy to setup and stow away. It comes with a carrying bag and all the necessary accessories including a hand pump, which is nice when you need to hike to get to your spot on the lake. I can tell from first opening that the quality was great but the only way to test it was to get out there and it did not disappoint. I was hesitant at first to buy an inflatable SUP due to fear of defects. ROC has a 3 yr manufacturer warranty against defects! Everything was included and I was able to take it in KAYAK mode past the breakwall into the ocean (yes I wore my PFD). It was easy to pump it up and strap it on the car similar to the hard shell I previously used. Much lighter, thicker and sturdy.
