This is my first paddle board ever. My boyfriend has one (different brand) that I tried and I fell in love with paddleboarding on the waters of Florida Gulf. So I went to get my own paddle board and wanted one that was a little shorter than his 11 feet, and I found this ROC brand. It's a little shorter and a little narrower, and awesome colors too. The price is great for this quality product. It is easy to carry in the little backpack it comes with and very easy to blow up with the pump that comes with it (about 6 minutes). I also like that it has a double paddle in case you want to sit on the board and use it like a kayak. A little waterproof baggie comes with it as well. I did not dare to bring my iPhone on the water with me (yet) though :) This was my first ever paddleboarding experience (I am 58 and somehow athletic, or so I thought) and I was surprised at how difficult it was to stand on it, especially on the wavy ocean. There was a lot of falling off at first, but the water was 89F / 32 C so it was very pleasant. Lots of laughing as well. In about half an hour I got it down and was able to stand somehow gracefully and paddle across the waters. So then I thought I had to try if I could do a headstand on it and even in the waves, I managed. Later I learned that yoga boards are totally different than these paddleboards, but at least here is proof that one can do even yoga on the ROC paddleboard. I am extremely pleased and this is going to be a spectacular summer on the waters of west Florida. ... show more

I love my new paddle board! Very well constructed, with quality material, easy to use, the inflating process took about 5 minutes and the deflating less than 3 minutes. It comes well equipped with a backpack as well as a wet bag for you to carry things around with you if needed. It is light and very cute as well. I like the size too, it's not super long so it makes it easier to move it around, take it in and out of the lake/ocean. I am very pleased with this purchase and am looking forward to using it more and more this summer. This board is GREAT. I pulled it out of the box and immediately loved the color. The multiple D Rings on every side are handy. The board itself is not heavy, so caring it is easy, especially with the handles on both the bow and stern. It takes about 10 minutes to use my electric pump to inflate the board. I inflated it to 13.5psi and it carried me, my 13yo, and my 8yo at the same time. My 10yo easily manned the board alone, as it was stable and firm. The paddle extends, and even comes with an extra oar to put in on the other side. I haven’t used it yet but we are looking forward to it. This is probably one of the smartest purchases I’ve made yet for summer. My kids are already asking when we can go boarding again. High quality, incredible value product. In fact, my MIL bought the same one on my recommendation 😉 ... show more
