This was a must on a Ford Ranger pick up. So much easier than beating on a pickle fork or using an air hammer. I tried everything to separate an A arm ball joint, bought this and in less than 3 minutes heard that familiar pop of the ball joint separating. Made very well and I was able to place it in a very tight area, tightened it slowly and the joint easily separated.     • Bent the prongs, threading was messed up immediately
It actually got the job done, which I was incredibly worried about from the get go. It looked like it was going to expand and blow itself apart but it held. Now it is permanently bent and I can't thread anything onto the threading.

I like the wide fork which allows to be used with bigger ball joints. The bolt has a nice end cap allowing for bigger surface area to put pressure onto the ball joint. The size is just right for larger auto and trucks. Not as big as some of the C-clamp method so you can work without having to take off lot parts to perform the task. ... show more

2 days trying to remove ball joint from knuckle tried everything else . Ordered it on second they got delivered late in evening knocked it out in minutes. Great product worth the money

    • Was not sturdy and did not work!
After watching a few videos on this, I thought it would be easy. I ended up using a pickle fork, which did the job this couldn’t do. Had to return it.

Got new today and I specter have small bent the end will send it back and get replacement & will see what is difference 3 times ordered and got all damage it man why china can’t event check they quality work before ship it out
