Midnight Magenta is my favorite color. I've used it the last 2 years and receive so many compliments. The picture shows the color when the sun hits it. It is darker inside. I have mini/micro locs. I did a loc detox that stripped my previous color leaving my hair looking brassy. The last few brands that I've tried left a lot to be desired. I was very pleasantly surprised by this. The Magenta came out beautiful, covered extremely well and lasted longer than any other brand I've used. I only wash my hair twice a week due to using bright colors.

I have dark hair so the color was muted by that..brighter with blonde or light hair! But I loved it! Smells great too..very messy though and will stain anything it touches..be prepared for that with plenty of rags to clean up

The media could not be loaded. I love splat it makes a mess but if your careful it works great and stays longer then more exspensive dyes I've done this like 5 times now with different colors Literally the only bad thing about it is the staining if you mess up but even that's worth it to me

I really love the color. Very vivid and intense. It smelled nice and was easy to apply. My only issue was the gloves. Both split between my thumb and index finger. One also split between pinky and ring and ring and middle. I've never ever had gloves split. Clorox wipes removed most of the stains on my hands. Apart from that I'm very pleased. I originally had dark brown roots (I bleached them) and dark/light ombre purple hair. The color came out amazing. I've used splat over 5 years and it is the best hair color.
