A little skeptical at first since I like traditional baking utensils but but hate the tough cleaning and these are actually a game changer! These compact all together so their footprint is even less than a standard mixing bowl! What a space saving bonus that is! They do not have a smell but I washed them before using the first time. They are easy to press from flat into shape and are thick/solid enough to hold good form, even full of heavy baking ingredients. They hold warmth uniformly, for a beautiful dough rise!
