I built a barndoor and used this hardware to mount it. Works extremely well. I added the soft close for two reasons: 1) less noise when it hits the ends, and 2) to keep the door from slowly rolling back. While I was careful to level the door when mounting, I ended up having a very slight lean towards one side. Frustratingly, there was no micro adjustments possible to help level the bar. This would be a welcome upgrade to this product to make installation even easier ... show more

The rail came in two pieces. In the past, the rail was shipped as a one piece unit which assured a smooth slide. Consequently, now the wheel “skips” slightly when it passes the connection point. Other than that, everything else was fine.

The media could not be loaded. Vinyl fence panel to slide for "gate". Installed double 2x4x10 stud on top of posts and attached the Rail provided. NOT PART of the rail package was the L Brackets with the large roller. Those were added to keep panel straight as it slides and also keep panel from rail dismount in wind storm. ... show more

I bought an 11" track for a door I made. The instructions were very clear and made it easy for me to install in the right location and at the right height. The door is a 67"-wide door made of MDF, so it is quite heavy, but it rolls incredibly well. The only issue I had is that one of the lag screws used to attach the track to the wall snapped while I was installing it. I contacted the seller, not really expecting much of a response. In the meantime, I went to the local hardware store and bought a new lag screw that would work. The seller did respond, and stated that they did not stock this screw as a service part, but that if I went to a local store and bought one, they would refund me for the cost. I told them I had already done that, and that I was all set. They replied again and asked me what I paid for the screw, and I said it was somewhere around $1.50, but I was all set. The next day, I received notice that I was getting a refund to my credit card for $1.59. Much better service than I ever expected, and the product looks and works great! ... show more

My basement was open and I built a wall to make a "man cave." I wanted a 4ft door, so I built a barn door out of 1x6's. This worked perfect. Alot more heavy duty than I expected!!! 110% satisfied!!!

Great product. We had 2 arch openings between our bedroom and bath. I made 2 barn doors that cover the 32” openings and can slide all the way left or right or any combination along my 17’ wall. The design of the 6’ pieces fit like a puzzle and has the screw anchor at this connection point to make a perfect connection. My studs were not on 16” centers so I put a 1x4 up first with some 3” lag screws and anchor bolts and it is really solid. Used a metal blade to cut the 12” off of one of the ends with no problem. Using the 1x4 made it easier than having to try to calculate how much to cut but if you have 16” centers it should not be too bad without the 1x4 ... show more
