    • Nice chase scenes!
These Lanafara RGBIC light bars are easy to setup and use. You can set them up a few different ways, I chose to use the wood base and have standing on each side of my TV. The light bars have 100s of light scenes to choose from and some nice chase scenes, and the LEDs are fairly bright (could use more LEDs). I chose not to download the app because the remote works fine. I gave 4 stars because the light bars could use more LEDs. ... show more

    • Really Nice Lights, But...
I do really enjoy these lights, and love the real wood base that you can attach to them. They can also be placed horizontally using the wooden bases. I know that the pictures and the product description both say/show some clips that would allow these light bars to be mounted on the back of a monitor or a TV. My box didn't contain any of these clips, or the "nano adhesive". I am unable to use these in any way but with the wooden base. I really like all of the controls that the app gives for these simple lights. They are RGBICW, but you can clearly tell that there aren't very many segments of lights (or LED lights) inside the tubes. Overall, I do like these lights and they would have received a 4-star review if all parts were in the box. * This was an Amazon Vine order. Products may be received at little to no cost in exchange for my sincere/frank review after trying and testing. The opinions above are my own and may not reflect other's experiences. These LED light bars look beautiful and fit any home due to their sleek modern aesthetics. The wooden base can hold the light bars upright and on its side. You simply screw it in with the included hardware to keep the lights upright. The wooden base blends into my bamboo tabletop seamlessly. It’s powered by USB but includes an AC adapter to plug directly into the wall. The app is barebones, like other generic RGB lighting accessory apps; nothing fancy but gets the job done. I would not use this behind a TV or monitor, it really needs to be upfront and center to stand out.     • A Light In The Night! Or A Few To Be True!!
So many ways to use these lights. Stand them up, lay them down, mount them to the wall, on and on.... They come with the "standard" remote that most of these light items have. If you have purchased any similar item, then you have a few of these remotes. I like the app, not fancy, not simple, just right. They have the pretty much standard nowadays USB powering, so you can use a USB plug adapter, or plug them into pretty much any USB port for power. The beauty of these is with the various mounting options you can move them around if you want. I have tried them as floor lighting by mountingthem under my desk, I have mounted them behind my TV. They have set on my dresser, one on each side, just to add ambient room light. You can use one of the many, many, many built-in patter options in the app, or let the lights "dance" to your music. The LANAFARA RGB light bars offer a truly economical way to add ambient lighting to your setup without much trouble. This light can create brilliant lighting effects with 152 dynamic modes. While it has many modes, I usually go with a solid color for ambient light as moving light are distracting from my work. Since they sit behind my 48" OLED monitor, my use case is just to create ambient light around it. The flexibility in placement is a standout feature. The wood base's ability to be mounted upright or flat, the clip for installation on monitors, TVs, or flat walls, and the nano adhesive for repeat use provide versatile options to suit different preferences and setups. The inclusion of a non-hybrid 2700K warm light for use as a reading lamp or bedside lamp is thoughtful. The ability to adjust brightness adds practicality to the light bars' functionality. The additional features such as timing setting, speed adjustment, and the possibility of combining multiple products for a synchronized effect contribute to the overall appeal. The ultra-long USB port wire and solid wood base add to the product's quality.     • Works okay, but not enough throw and not enough LEDs
Overall, this works fine. It looks okay, and gives reasonably good lighting around. The true white LEDs are nice and look good. The main complaints are that it doesn't have enough LEDs in the strip to make the effects look good (too blocky) and that it doesn't spread light too far (not enough throw), making their usefulness limited. ... show more
