I’m picky with my hair dryers. I like low noise, fast drying and no frizz. I also have to have attachments since I wear my hair curly and straight. I sent two other dryers back (one around $100 and one $35ish). The $100 one made my hair texture weird and dried it slower than most. The cheaper one sucked my hair in and while it was travel size I hated it! This one is a great match! It’s not perfect but the fact it’s travel friendly was a huge plus for me. The speed is good and the temp is good (could be more but with the attachments I feel it goes down a little). The power button is in a bad spot but you learn to work around it. When you add the attachments it does make a louder pitchy sound but I’ve also learned to position it away from my ears so the sound isn’t as bad. It’s not loud but it’s not a whisper by any means. It’s lightweight and just overall easy to use and seems to be of good quality. Time will tell but this one was a keeper at least! ... show more

Love, love, love the Slopehill. My friends have the comparable Dyson product and the Slopehill hits all the same features and a quarter of the cost. I fly frequently and the Slopehill’s fold-ability and extreme light weight are fantastic for carry-on travel. Was so excited for my new blow dryer to come. Only to be disappointed with it being dirty, and used from what I could see. Inside the box there were also hair particles stuck to the plastic inside the box, and some of the attachments. Which made me examine the parts a little closer, before seeing if the blow dryer even worked. (I personally did not use The blow dryer on myself due to it being dirty)If you can see on the side of the filter photo, there's a light brown spot, I don't know if it's from overheating, but it's only on that one side of the filter. I'm not sure if this is normal or not, as this is my first purchase of this kind of blow dry. Also there were particles in the filter in the photo these are the remaining particles after I wiped out the other particles with a eyeglass cloth. I understand they have to test it in the factory before shipping but it shouldn't leave so many particles. I did try to see if the blow dryer worked, and it did I just tried it for a short time but it does work like it should for the short time I tried it and all the functions did what they should. It did run a little hot. All in all I am very impressed with the blow dryers sleekness, ion technology, The overall lightness of the blow dryer, and the ability that it is able to blow dry your hair quickly. I have not yet tried that. I gave it one star due to in my opinion it being a used return item with a high probability of being defective or that's just the quality of their product. I always use a 2000 watt hair dryer and wanted something small that packed the same punch as my home dryer. This is perfect - obviously the blow hole is smaller, but it is powerful for a small dryer…the handle folds to make it even more compact. Pricey but worth it for carry-on convenience.
