Do not waste your money on this. The entire experience has been a disaster. The enclosure comes with no directions and fell apart in two weeks. The skytrak plus itself is ok but misses a lot of shots. The materials are cheap and all come from China. The worst is their customer service which is impossible to reach. Also the software it comes with is a joke. Don’t waste your money . I just want to update this review and add that the optima projector has now failed. It will not turn on. I can’t get any answer or help with returning it. ... show more

everything was packaged well and shipped rapidly without incident - I guess - I had to replace my projector but the seller was Johny on the spot and shipped a new one even more rapidly - I had a couple connection issues with the skytrak device but that has been fixed now - there is an annual charge but with the additional courses bundled I think its worth it - playing inside out of the rain is a bonus here in the great PNW - upper left of course! ... show more

The Good: Overall structure and screen is nicely built and pretty stable. Optima Projector is a high end and the picture is fantastic at night. The reader does a very good job in reading all Irons 4-9 and drivers. May miss one out of a 100 shots. Reads Putter and wedges but takes moving the ball around until you find the sweet spot. Looking online it's normally resolved by moving the ball toward the screen or the reader. In my case 1" toward the screen and 2" further from the reader. After this adjustment it reads putter and wedge 90% of the time. Reader comes in a protective case which my son has tested multiple times. Very durable. The maps, analytics and statistics are excellent. I've been able to improve my game 10 fold in just 4 weeks. For analytics, ball contact and club statists the applications support a ? help menu to explain what most represent. This allows quick work to identifying root causes of issues. Negatives: Instructions are poor for both building the unit and setting up the account and reader. As other have noted the bottom of the screen does not get tensioned so there are wrinkles which impacts appearance. Still trying to figure out how to best tension and get the waves out. In my case the putting green was folded which caused substantial wrinkles which I cant get out. I've had a ticket open for 3 weeks still waiting on validation they are going to replace. Will update in the future. Finicky related to wedges and putters but worked well once you find the sweet spot Should be clarified the system requires a Pc to connect to SkyTrak and the projector. Should be clarified a yearly subscription is required Depending on the packages minimum is ~$130 per year and up. The application does not natively support multiple players. Meaning I cant have multiple profiles active at one time to save analytics and game status. If playing with local friends if you exit only your primary profile status is retained. Trying to add User profiles (only one active at at time) appears to be very buggy. I was able to add my Son but have tried over a dozen times to add my other son and the system just hangs. During the day the screen is pretty bleached but still playable. If you mount the projector to the screen mount it will shake with a good shot. I mounted my to the ceiling but then found out the Projector does not have a adjustable zoom. It does support a digital zoom but it has distance limitations. Just a fyi. Lastly the $3k Reader sits behind the ball but ~18" toward the screen. Which means it's in the danger zone. My son has wacked it several times with the ball. Thanks to the protective case no damage has occurred. A overhead reader would of been a better design. Over all I'm satisfied with the purchase and love the information the system provides plus the hours of enjoyment. It will be interesting to see how the putting matt replacement goes. Getting concern as 3 weeks is a long time waiting on a validation it will be warranted. Received my SkyTrak+ and I love everything but the studio enclosure as it doesn’t fit right at the bottom two corners. Contacted SkyTrak and they had me contact their vendor directly. Their vendor said it was normal and doesn’t mess with the integrity of the hitting screen but it looks terrible and the corners of the screen do not stay straight so the screen has a wavy video. It’s not normal and I am very disappointed in the studio. Still waiting on a call or email back from the vendor as I’ve inquired about a fix or replacement. No need to replace if the next one does it too. ... show more

Bought the simulator from Amazon through SkyTrak Golf right out of the box there was a problem with the closure got a conflict resolution number 10 days ago. Tried to set up an account they can’t recognize their own ESN number. So no account!! Was informed by sky track that they would give me an adjusted refund for the sales price if I would close the case on the refund which I did, no response!! it pains me to do this negative of a review for such a good product but their customer service needs a lot of help I would be glad to revisit this review if sky track would get it together ... show more
