the fan itself is not bad. i use the fan to blow heat out of my garage. las vegas heat is not easy to beat in the garage. the bad thing about the parts is the plastic foot that holds the wheels to the frame. when i went to snap it on the frame, the plastic part broke. it broke very easy too. i did not man handle it or force it on. im willing to bet it was cracked even before i touched it. anyways, trying to find just that part has proved to be fruitless. i glued it and used zip ties to hold it to the brace/frame. we have sent a picture and what happened to the company but no reply. its been close to a week now. just for that reason i would not recommend it to friends. if you dont need to move it and are young in age if you have to move it than i guess it would be okay. still would not recommend it if you want to wheel it around. ... show more

I'll update if there is a problem, but got mine today. 10 minute assembly. It's an air mover! It's a little loud, but it's a garage fan, what do you expect? I want to be cool, not quiet.

I bought this for my horse barn in front of one bigger stall. I burn up box fans (3) a year..they just don’t work. I purchased this to see if it would be heavy duty and would work with air circulation to cool the stall and keep flys to a minimum. It’s a fantastic fan…easy to assemble and maneuver. Pretty quiet (it doesn’t faze the horses) and air circulation is fantastic!!! I love it! I went to buy another a week later and the price increased by $40+ !!! I was pretty bummed! I just can’t justify that additional cost! ... show more

June 5, 2021: The product just arrived and sadly there were missing parts. NOT cool. After reaching out to Amazon customer service I feel better. However, the missing part are the pads to help the fan level. It's a sad day for Amazon who continue to use subpar sellers. I have not been thoroughly happy with various sellers for a couple of years. Nonetheless, Amazon was able to make things right with this product. Yes, the fan sounds like an airplane about to take off....So noise is a big factor. However, the real test is when I put this in my fellowship hall at church. I'll see how much noise it really creates. I don't think this (the noise) will be a factor if it was outdoors. I knew these industrial/commercial fans moved lots of air and created lots of noise. The fan switch is flimsy/wobbly. There is no way that I see where it can be tightened. Heck, I don't know how long it will stay in place, but I will see. Maybe it's made like this on purpose but I don't like it. As far as keeping the area cool or feeling the air - I won't be able to test it until tomorrow where I put in the hall or maybe the sanctuary. I'll update my findings. ... show more

This fan is great. It’s not as bulky and heavy as the other ones that are the same size but puts off the same air flow. We can take it to work projects and only requires one person to move it to and from.
