I’m really happy with this kit. This was my first experience installing a sliding barn door. I did have some trial and error due to my inexperience (and lack of math skills lol) but love how my door turned out. This was a great price and works well for an awkward space that previously had no door. Kit had everything I needed to make the door I had functional. The hardware is sturdy. was relatively easy to install, and I am happy with the overall look. The instructions were all over the place though. Some steps use fractions of inch for the measurement, others use inches as a decimal point, and one step suddenly switched to metric for the tool bit. Also, for some reason there were several measurements the instructions listed in 1/32's of an inch... which is a ridiculous precision to require of a DIY-er using a ruler that measure's to 1/8 of an inch and a pencil with a 1/16 inch tip to mark the location of a hole that's 3/8 of an inch anyways. It was doable, no problem, but little details of the design and instructions seemed sloppy. ... show more
