This is my 2nd Sifely Smart Lock. I have one on our home, and I placed this one on our church door. I can unlock the door from a remote location which saves me alot of time. Also, i can give different codes to individuals so I know who is entering at all times. Definitely a game changer.

    • This Works great but...
This remote connection hub was easy to set up and install. However, I'm NOT a big fan of the lock itself because it takes 5-10 tries for it to recognize your fingerprint. The other thing that I liked was that this unit could also be paired with a GEEKSMART lock... But it would not pair to both locks at the same time. I read somewhere that this could control more than 1 lock but maybe they have to be the same brand... Overall I would recommend this unit but I just wish I would have bought a different lock altogether. ... show more

    • Great lock, awful, unreadable instructions.
I just got this going after about a week of trying to set it up. The problem isn’t the lock really but the complete lack of useable instructions. There are a lot of words but practically no useful illustrations for basic functionality. A lot of the setup involved me guessing and trying until it worked. Unfortunately fir me, the second physical key was lost during this long process so now I only have one. Speaking of physical key, it’s simple to used UNLESS you don’t know how to remove the cover. I don’t know how long I spent just figuring that out. To be fair, maybe it would have been quicker if I could dedicate a very long chunk of time setting it up but my schedule is such that it was all broken up over a long period. The fingerprint reader doesn’t recognize my finger most of the time but I used 3 different readings so the now it has to recognize one of them. Again, this all makes perfect sense once you figure it out. Sifely was fast to reach out and help and they said they are working on better instructions. I told them they should fire whoever made the video instructions because they flay by so fast you have to pause it constantly to keep up. I’m not going to go on about that but I do want to mention my one disappoint so far about actual functionality, apparently this does not work with Apple HomeKit. I was really looking forward to being able to tell Siri to unlock my door while visiting bumfriggin, Egypt but I guess that is not in the cards. I’m sure that’s just a matter of some simple code that would open the customer base significantly. Otherwise, it’s very good. Some kind soul should go to the trouble of making clear, step by step installation and operation instructions and post them here. And then Sifely should generously compensate them. ... show more

The Gateway works seamlessly with the lock. But before you can use the Gateway, it needs to be paired with your lock through Bluetooth. Once it’s paired and connected to WiFi, you can use your phone app to unlock and unlock the door anywhere, as well as utilize all app features that you could use when using Bluetooth.     • Problem with Gateway
I purchased this lock with the gateway to be able to use it remotely. Unfortunately, the Gateway only works with 2.5G. So if you have a 5G network, you're out of luck.

The Sifely Smart Lock Gateway works exactly as I hoped. I added it in the app and now I can manage my Sifely Smart Lock from my mobile wherever I am. Great product!
