Although not really like a true memory type foam (it rebounds much quicker and has higher resiliency than the memory foam used in other products), it is nonetheless extremely comfortable. The heel area is very cushioned and is fairly thick which contributes to its shock absorbing properties. Due to this thickness, unless you have a very flat insoled shoe and shoes that are maybe a half size too large, you will want to make sure that you can remove the insoles in your shoes (some shoes like some Vans or Sketchers have their insoles cemented into place). In my case, I had ordered shoes that turned out to be 1/2 size too large. In addition, the shoes had a fairly hard/stiff sole insert which was relatively flat. So I just placed these inserts on top of the existing insoles and the fit was perfect! In addition, the added cushioning made the shoes extremely comfortable. I do not know how well these will hold up as I just placed them today. However, they seem to be well made. The ventilation holes appear to be very small so I do not know if they will effectively take care of foot moisture (with the current heat wave across much the US this will be tested soon). Although these inserts do not have a great deal of built in arch support, because the heel is pretty thick and “cushiony”, as your heel sinks a little into the insert, the arch area seems to be well supported, at least in my case, YMMV. At any rate, very pleased with the purchase so far. A great insole for a very low price compared to what you can usually get at your local CVS etc. ... show more

The insoles are helpful but they make wearing my shoes difficult simply for he fact that they lift my foot up and out of my shoe lol No biggie, but an honest observation. The size was good they fit well inside my shoe. My heel pain was less with them in , didn’t go away but certainly less. They were Easy to fit and easy to use . All in all a great product I jsut need deeper shoes ... show more

I love these memory foam inserts, I'm using them for work so my feet don't hurt. I want to order some for my boots and shoes. My sneakers are flat at the bottom and I think that's what makes my feet hurt. I might order my kids some if they experience foot pain. These seemed promising, they're soft but lack arch support so I was in pain at the end of my shift, plus it's so bouncy I rolled my ankle twice inside my shoe. If your not using for a 12hr work shift I highly recommend at this price point you can't go wrong. These would be absolutely incredible for a long hike, I had pain after 8hrs on concrete, so anything else would be fine in these. I was up and down on a ladder when my ankle rolled, but I was also fatigued after 9hrs. The bounce & cushion would be perfect for anyone with wide feet that are concerned of pain in crummy boots or shoes. These are thick so keep it in mind, you need to be able to remove the old insole or have enough space in the shoe to accommodate you & this thick soft boy. ... show more

I purchased a size 11 pair of beautiful designer boots on ebay..I normally wear a 10 depending on the designer. When they arrived, they were too big. So, I started looking at my options to fill them in so I could wear them. I decided to try these. Wham!!! Cut them down and placed them in and now my new to me fancy boots fit me perfectly. I wouldn't use these in shoes that fit me..but to fill in a too large pair..these are wonderful and comfy. ... show more
