The media could not be loaded. This is a foot massager that has various functions, including heat, air, knead and vibration. Your feet go all the way into the massager and the controls are on the front top. It’s easy to see and use the controls. You can use one or all of them. The heat can be low or high, and the rest have three settings. The massager starts on the lowest settings, and you select the optional heat and set it to either high or low. You can turn off any settings you don’t want, but I find that it gives the best massage when everything is on, though you may not always want heat. The low settings give good results but you need to fiddle with things to get what you find you like best. If you want shiatsu it’s the “knead” setting. If you want squeezing, it’s “air.” It runs for 15 minutes and kind of changes things up throughout. Sometimes the compression is light, sometimes very firm, and the rollers and nubs at the bottom alter what they do, too. The foot slots can fit smaller and larger feet, up to a men’s 13. One member of my family has a size 11 men’s and there is no problem. I have a size 8.5 men’s and it works great for me, too. The vibration is subtle and I find it works to stimulate the bottom front of my foot, especially, where the shiatsu is the middle 2/3 and the air compression does the entire foot. The shiatsu is very effective, especially in conjunction with the air compression. If it’s cold out or you have just come in from a hike for sure use the heat. It’s nice for cold and tired feet. The inserts in the foot wells are removable so you can wash them. The massager is sturdy and the power cord is a decent length. It feels very well-constructed and is light for its size, coming in at a bit more than 5.5 pounds. That makes it easy to move around and use. The power gets plugged into a short dongle, and the whole setup is pretty neat. You don’t feel like you’re drowning in cords or that something is going to pull out. The instructions come with your basic safety precautions, like not using this around water or in wet/really moist environments. I also like that the top is flat and so are the power controls, so a quick wipe should keep this clean. No crannies for dust to get into. The only thing that would be nice is a remote, but the controls are easy to see and reach. I am very happy with this purchase. It gives a massage that is really nice and firm. You can set it pretty intense, and it is very close to getting a real massage, which I was pleasantly surprised about. This is not one of those old, lame massagers that weigh a ton and do nothing but vibrate, and the fact that the default program switches things up a bit makes it feel much less like a machine. This massager was a great surprise for the price I paid. The knead and air settings compresses your feet and feels as good as a hand massager. I really recommend, I use after long runs and sometimes after a long work day. Would recommend purchasing this product, also can be a great gift!

I've experienced swollen and tingly feet for the past several months and purchased and returned an open box brand name foot massager from a brick-and-mortar store; returned because the mechanism was off balance. Because of its effectiveness, I researched and purchased this CILI Shiatsu foot massager. I have women's size 13 feet, the box states up to men's size 13, I don't think I'd go so far to state men's size 13. After trying different settings combinations, I use the highest of three levels for each setting, kneading, air pressure, and vibration, with no heat. I use this machine almost daily, at the end of each day and sometimes during the day. One discomfort: One of the shiatsu balls hits the protrusion of the first metatarsal (the big part of the inside foot bone right above the pad), causing some pain but only on the left foot. I have to push my foot forward deeper in the machine for the ball to work on the softer tissue. Because this machine seems to be geared for larger feet, it might not be ideal for people with smaller than women's size 10 or men's size 9. I'm a huge fan of this foot massager! I spend all day at work on my feet and there is nothing better than coming home to receiving a foot massage with this device. I keep it in my living room and use it nightly while I'm sitting on the couch. It pays for itself with just a few uses in lieu of getting a foot massage from a spa. The massage is quite soothing and effective, and the settings offer a nice variety. This massager is terrible. It has a massaging area of about 4 inches high and 3 inches wide. It reaches about 30% of my foot. The platforms that your feet rest on are also completely straight, meaning for any evenness you must keep your thighs together. Pretty hard to do as a man. The massaging settings go from hard, to make your feet sore for a week hard. The heat setting is low, which barely does anything, and high. It was squeezing my feet and burned the hell out of me so I had to yank it to unplug it. Zero redeeming qualities. ... show more
