  • I’m a big guy that needed some power..
Style: GT2P
And power I did receive! So here’s my thoughts, organized and condensed. 1. It attracts a lot of attention. When in race mode, I feel like Ricky Bobby. 2. It’s faaaaassst. Real fast. Like scary fast when you’re standing 5” off the ground. 3. It’s expensive. Nothing says I have money or I’m a moron like owning a $4,000 scooter. Maybe both. 4. I always tell people it’s the Tesla of Segway scooters. 5. I don’t let friends drive it cause it’s too expensive. 6. It’s an absolute beast. The fact that I weigh 300lbs and when I accelerate on race mode, the tires squeal is amazing and fun and hilarious. Got all the neighbors asking me to do a burnout like it’s 1976 and I’m in my Camaro. 7. It feels super sturdy and well built and when hitting a small pothole at 30mph…..I’m thankful for that. 8. It’s heavy so it’s hard to move. Wish I could move it easier but will find a way to attach it to my camper for campsites. 9. I’m ready to accessorize it. Basket, etc. One hack that I figured out that everyone loves or hates..I will put a Bose S1 Pro speaker on it and sit down like a motorcycle. That speaker is battery powered and LOUD. I will roll around listening to some Lorna Shorne and everyone loves them so there’s that! (Don’t try this as home kids) 10. I regret nothing. ... show more

  • Great Super Scooter!
Style: GT2 Megatron Limited Edition
My GT2 SuperScooter Megatron Limited Edition is a massive upgrade over my Segway Ninebot MAX! Very powerful while being smooth and stable. Very cool aerodynamic aluminum design. Build quality is unmatched. Sure, there are scooters that are faster, but I have no need to go faster than 45mph. Expensive, yes. Safety and reliability makes it worth it. My best purchase yet from amazon. Great job Segway! ... show more

  • Wish it had a few more QOL features
Style: GT2P
Cons: You have to be connected to the scooter via bluetooth to see info and change things in the app. It should be able to do that without bluetooth. Like others have said it makes too much noise when going over bumps. The front "clicks". I also feel the throttle is too aggressive and sensitive. That's one reason why mode specific limits in the app are nice. It feels dumb to have the mode switching from the right dial only one-way. It should loop through regardless of direction. (Update: actually I changed my mind on this one. Making it one-way makes it so you dont have to look down and still know your mode setting.) I really dont like the horn sound. Its just a loud shrill beep. Another con... obviously its very heavy at 116lbs. There is a handle on the front and a very grippable area above the rear wheel but still it's difficult to carry around. There needs to be a better way to mount a phone. I've seen others put a mount on the left bar which actually isnt bad since your hands are almost never gripped that far in but the issue is that it's too off-center. Pros: you can set mode specific speed limits in the app, I did eco 15mph, sport 25mph, and race unrestricted (no traction control). I've hit 45mph multiple times with 90-40% charge. It definitely loses power when at 30% and lower just like an electric car. It's still impressively fast single motor but apparently there are no range benefits to doing single motor. At first, I found the acceleration to be scary fast. But after riding for much longer the second time I got used to everything about it. I do like the power. It feels like just the right amount. I like how if I lift the front wheel above a curb and push forward the bottom doesnt scrape. I went up pretty steep hiking trails with lots of loose rocks and it handled the angle and dirt extremely well. Neutral: It would be incredible if they could get the same stability, power, and range into something smaller and sleeker. It looks and feels extremely bulky. I also prefer the color of the gt1 over gt2. The transparent display doesnt feel that special or cool over a regular oled display. Even if it still weighed 116lbs if the design was sleeker in a way it would carry easier I would love that. I also think I prefer the acceleration button that cheaper scooters have. Like the piece of plastic that portrudes. Instead of being integrated into the handle like a motorcycle. I think that's partly because I find the throttle on the gt2 so twitchy I think it would be easier to control with the plastic piece. Idk could be wrong on that tho. Overall, I'm happy with the scooter so far. Impressive, race-like performance and a comfortable ride. It is massive and heavy but capable. I see why it is the end-game scooter for most enthusiasts. ... show more
