Usage of color: Mixing ratio 1:1 Apply on dry hair. Allow to develop for 30 - 45 minutes. Use 3% Color & Care Developer when coloring darker. Use 6% Color & Care Developer for tone-on-tone, 1 tone lighter or coverage. Use 9% Color & Care Developer for coloring 1-2 tones lighter. Use 12% Color & Care Developer for coloring 2-3 tones lighter. For faded color or on previously tinted hair follow dual application with diluting color with water or conditioner for mid to ends hair shaft Additional heat is optional and reduces the developing time by a third. Amazing hair color. My favorite I’ve ever used. Mixed this with the Schwarzkopf 9% developer. I am a total beginner when it comes to hair dye ( I’ve used box dye in the past) but this was easy to use and the consistency was very nice. I have dirty blonde\brown hair that had been dyed blonde at the salon. It had been growing out for 6 months. I applied this dye mids first then roots and left it on for 25 minutes. My hair lifts fast. It came out beautiful and even, and only a little bit yellow. I could not be happier. Not to mention, very little breakage so far and my hair still feels pretty healthy. I did use a silver conditioner after I dyed it. From now on, I will only be using this brand. ... show more

Two parts to this review: lifting from dark blonde hair and also refreshing highlighted bits. 1)I felt that even with using the 40 volume for the full time allowed on my dishwater blonde hair, it only lifted 2 levels and left it a very orangey color. My hair tends to pull warm when I bleach it but I always tone over it. Since this was supposed to be a one stop shop, I didn’t get any toner to go with it, and with a toner I feel like it will end up going back close to what the original color it was. It’s less drying and damaging (although 40 volume isn’t preferable to use on hair). It’s good if you like warmer tones and want a subtle lightening but it’s not going to give as good of a lift as bleach. 2)I will add: I used the leftover for highlighting bits of my human hair wig that was bleached but did already have some toner in it, and it brightened it up about a half shade without turning it yellow or causing a lot of damage. It made it look really pretty. I’d recommend most for use if your highlighted blonde looks kind of yellowish, absorbed too much toner or is too dull. I’ve tried to do the same thing with bleach or a shampoo cap and it dries out the bleached hair and usually goes too yellow so requires toning again. Definitely recommend using to lighten or freshen up already bleached hair. ... show more

I bleached my regrowth 2 times within the past 2 months. Trying to get rid of a band I had left over from letting my regrowth grow out too long. Although it did not lighten the band all the way through, it did help and made my hair color more consistent. I did not want to bleach again yet, so this was an alternative.. I would not recommend this product if you have dark hair. I would bleach your hair, do a week of treatments and use this as a toner. Leave it on for only about 15 minutes as a toner. Which is what I will do in another 4 weeks when I do my regrowth and fix the band. ... show more

I couldn't find many reviews about the results of this product so I had to learn on my own. It's hilift so I used it 1:2 ratio (one pt. Igora and 2 pt development -I used 40 vol. for recomended time per the instruction leaflet) and the prelightened portion came out a very ashy blonde, which is what I wanted. I also used it to fade my roots, which are naturally a level 3 , and it worked perfectly, without turning my hair a brassy strange color. This is something that I would suggest (as well as being aware of what is already in your hair previously, since this will have an impact on the results) and I would use it again and again. ... show more
