This is a great lightweight machine to roll out from a corner to the front of the TV. The bike is extremely easy to put together. It comes with the two tools you need to assemble it: a Phillips screwdriver / Allen wrench and a wrench. It took me just a few minutes as it was very intuitive. I only checked the instructions that came with it to see how to orient a few bolts. There is one tricky bolt though. You have to hold the bolt and nut while tightening the elbow to the handle bars. Metric bolts for those wondering. The bike feels pretty solid and the seat has a nice bounce and cushion to it. The seat flexes when you move. The pedals don’t have teeth to it so you can just strap your barefoot to it or wear sandals. If it feels wobbly, you have to adjust the footings in front. It is extremely quiet so you can ride while sitting in front of a TV. It has a sturdy tray that can be used to hold a tablet or your phone or a book. It also has a little computer tracker but I usually don’t pay attention to it. I just adjust the wheel resistance and cycle away for TV episode and call it a night. There are seat and height adjustments for those who need it to switch between different users. It’s just a quick unscrew of the knobs to make the changes. I feel this is perfect for casual riders. It is low cost and silent. If you are training for something, you may want to pass on this. The downside is that the flywheel maybe too light for fit people. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I am finally getting a chance to review this nifty little exercise bike. I had purchased it right before a loss in the family and didn’t get a chance to put it through its paces until now. I was initially a little skeptical that something in this price range was going to do what I needed, but I am pleasantly suprised of the value. It’s a smaller unit, which is what I wanted. Something that I could move to the side when not using, but substantial enough that I didn’t feel that it would break to use it vigorously. The bike came very well packaged and actually smaller than many regular bike boxes. The assembly was easy and straight forward, about 15-20 minutes from start to finish. The kit comes with all the tools needed, and the tools were very substantial, not cheap punched metal. The build quality is above expectation for this price point. The metal feels substantial and the welds look very good. The powder coating is event and attractive. I love the black and orange look to it, very smart. Some points about the bike. The seat is fairly comfy. With spring suspension. The seat and handlebars are both very adjustable in height. The pedals have straps than keep your feet in place. In practice, the bike is smooth and quiet. The pressure dial for resistance that is very effective in small increments. The led computer racket is a nice touch for my abitly to see what I have done, though I usually just set it and zone out on a show while pedaling. The water bottle holder/book or iPad tray is great. Is this a high end, pro bike? No, it isn’t, but it isn’t at a high end pro price either. This does just what we needed it to without breaking the bank OR being a pain to move when not in use. While we may eventually upgrade, I feel that this was a superb purchase and we are definitely getting our money worth. This is our first personal exercise bike, although we've used a lot of exercise equipment over the years. Compared to other home gym equipment, this seems similarly well made. It's not a commercial item to be sure, but it seems like it will serve its purpose and last a long time. Assembly was pretty straightforward. Both the seat and handlebar risers adjust vertically, and the seat can adjust a few inches horizontally as well. The seat is pretty firm; it has some springs which are also pretty firm. We don't find it uncomfortable, though. This bike uses a flywheel with a friction pad for resistance, and a belt drive. It pedals pretty smoothly and quietly. When I first assembled it, there was a soft "clickity-clickety" when pedaling, but the next day I got on it and that sound was gone. Maybe the belt needed to settle in. The nice thing about friction systems (vs magnetic) is that you can infinitely and very finely adjust the amount of tension. The adjusting knob is easy to reach and ergonomic to use/adjust while pedaling. The little tracking computer does what it is supposed to. It's convenient to have a time counter which auto-starts and stops. I like that it remembers/adds to the time until you reset it, so if you have to take a break, it will automatically resume your time count when you get back on. Overall, we are glad to have purchased it. It's a nice addition to our workout options. Although the bike does not have automatic programs to simulate hills, with a twist of a knob you can vary the intensity at will and enjoy a lot of variety for a fraction of the cost of a fancy commercial machine. ... show more

I got his bike hoping both my husband and I could use it. I really like it for me — it’s sturdy and very easy to assemble. Sadly, it’s just too small for my husband. It holds his weight, but at 6’ 6” there is just not quite enough space for his long knees. It should also be noted that spreading the bike out for that height also made it a little wobbly. It is not wobbly when it’s more compact. I think you’d be able to easily use this even if you are 6 feet tall, but much above that, and I’d search for a more specialized bike. 5 stars for me at 5’ 4” and more like 3 stars for my husband, who’s very tall. ... show more

It is definitely a flimsy bike but the wide base keeps it stable. The Handel bars need to be able to go a little higher as they are quite low as well as be stabilized better. Will need to invest in a better seat. It is a quiet bike with the exception of the creaking Handel bar.
