  • Just welcome my new threadmill
Easy assembly and works great. First of all, after extensive research on best treadmills in the internet, many YouTube reviews and assembly videos, taking a close look at the Amazon reviews and looking at the lowest price in CamelCamelCamel, I thought this was the best model for my needs. This treadmill is actually for snowy and raining days, my wife and I prefer running and walking outside but we live in central New York State with a wicked winter. Based on that I selected a model at a more reasonable price tag, plus I waited for the Black Friday deals which worked perfectly. The treadmill will be used by myself and my wife only, we are in our mid-sixties. I run a 5K every morning and after I walk with my wife 4 miles daily. We are in great physical shape but we are not top athletes. Ordering: Be wise and get “Room of Choice Delivery” for $20. It is a very heavy box and my treadmill was going to the third floor. Best spent $20. Assembly: I watched a few YouTube videos, they were very helpful. The assembly movie in Amazon is not for this model. There is also a very useful App recommended by NordicTrack, BILT, it is free and very convenient, get it. The instructions that came with the treadmill were good too. I had the help of my wife, took my time, and after one hour it was all assembled. It went flawless. Nothing came broken and no damage during the installation. I have to say that everything inside the shipping box was well protected during the shipping. Start-Up: First of all, I do not care for using iFIT, I don’t need a coach to energize me, we are always all pump-up about exercising. I use my tablet/Ipad with YouTube, I look for scenic hike like in the Alp’s or the Rockies and that works perfectly for me. My wife watches her own videos or make calls. I don’t think it is necessary to pay for the app. The reviews make it clear that iFIT customer service is very poor and will not help bypassing the app. Maybe if the only charge $5 a month, then maybe you can try it. It is a personal decision. So, I turned it on and press the iFIT button for 15 seconds to defeat the iFIT app. It energized and ready for use. Ready for a test, I raised the incline and it worked, I brought the speed slowly and everything sounded good and worked. Use: So, it snowed in New York and we fully tested the treadmill. I started walking and changed the inclined and accelerated manually. I had my tablet on top of the panel, I could still change speed and incline. As long as the running speed is less than 6 mph the table was stable, once you go up it will rattle a little bit. I had the tablet connected to the speakers; they are no Bose speakers but sounded a lot better than the tablet speaker. The screen gives you enough information and I can see the information without my glasses. I use an Apple watch which is more accurate so I don’t go by the panel on calories or pulse. I tested the various preprogram workouts and they work fine. The motor is not loud even if it is an under $700 treadmill. I ran up to 7 mph and everything was good. I don’t need to go up to 10 mph so I have enough room for running. Ran for one hour and was happy with the machine, had a great workout. It was the first time for my wife to use the treadmill, I explained everything, it was easy, she did her walk changing manually the speed and the incline. She loved the treadmill; I think she will be the may user. Everything works great and it looks good. Stowing: Easy to lift to the stow position and easy to move around. Mine is stationary at a window so I can look out. I will update the review later, it does look very solid, let’s see how long it last. I highly recommend this treadmill for home use, specially if you don’t need a fancy big screen and it is mostly for the days you can’t run/walk outside. Great for just a couple of people with a few hours of usage a day. ... show more

  • Exceptional
This heavy bad boy has all the bells and whistles. My son brought the console base up a flight of stairs using a dolly and assembled it easily himself but it really requires 2 people. It's incredibly sturdy, well made, comfortable, and easy to operate. It runs quiet and smooth. When shopping for a treadmill I was indecisive on whether to opt for a different brand with a 15% incline and so glad I went with this model since I can definitely feel a good workout in my legs at a 10% incline as I had hoped. It has alot of power as well compared to the treadmill I used at the gym where a #5 setting was a fast walk compared with a #3 on this model so its functional capabilities exceeded my expectations. It smells new but not in a bad way. The size is perfect and I love how it's designed. ... show more

  • Where to begin.........
Where to begin… I did a lot of research I am 233 pounds 6 foot 2 I needed to do something! Who likes to get on the treadmill and just run? I have had one before only a hand full of programs you can work out on. Before I found this treadmill, I was looking for something cheap and compact… well that will get you only a 15-16-inch-wide belt not very long as well. Also doesn’t seem like it would hold up. Then I stumbled across this bad boy NordicTrack T series! 20-inch-wide belt also good for tall people controls are perfectly set, also very sturdy it does not wobble or anything and keeps it place. Wife and I put it together. It is pretty simple after a couple of arguments it was together! haha! Has like 20 work out apps pre-set but that doesn’t even touch what you are going to unlock!?! I-fit is one of the best things they have invented. I got the free trial with purchase, didn’t even realize it came with it.… never really heard of it. I decided to do the free trail. I originally hooked treadmill up to my phone but that wasn’t good enough. I wanted a bigger screen. I found a really good tablet for 140.00 bucks Vastking pad k10 10 inches (I will be writing a review on that as well) sat that up and the videos are so amazing… you walk up stair’s trainer will raise your incline… he makes you go fast, slower feels like you are actually there. Endless library of videos, you can pick the beach, sand, mountains whatever you heart desires it will take you there and work you out. After my free trail you can bet, I will pay for the service each month… I hook the tab up through the speakers on the machine and it sounds good. The 1st one I did was a 7-workout series hiking Mt Fuji… Man it’s so amazing, you see it all and its culture the trainer that walks with you was the one who taught me how to actually breathe while doing that 10 inclines! It’s really like you’re hiking it. Breathtaking experience! Breath taking trainer too. Haha 😊 Once I finished that I started a 5k training… 30-workout series. Trainer he teaches you how to breath as well but did something different than Mt Fuji. He gets you off the treadmill at end of each work out for stretches… I never stretch and when I started mocking his stretches, I am so loose and not sore the next day. I am on work out 10 on that. I stepped on the scale and I have lost 9.4 pounds 223.6! Only 22 days into the diet and workouts. I don’t even realize I am working out on this 5k set in Vietnam! You not only learn about the culture you also have a trainer that is pushing you through. Before I started on the treadmill there is no way I would be able to jog 4.8 mph for 6 min straight… well I killed that last work out… I can breathe better have more stamina my stomach is getting way smaller. I cannot say enough good things about this treadmill I would recommend this to anybody that wants to get fit and lose weight… even if you don’t want to jog, they have walking programs that you can walk on the beach. They have live programs a certain time too… there was a live 5k run last Saturday at 11:30 am! My coworker just bought her a NordicTrack paid 2500 bucks it’s the same as mine but has a screen built in for your I-fit programs so spending 600 plus 140 for tab got same experience. I am so glad I decided to spend a couple more hundred dollars for a much better treadmill… It does fold up nicely too just like the picture. ... show more
