I received my item quickly and it was very well packaged and assembly was easier than I expected. The build quality of very high and the finish on the item is very good. The digital display is clear, easy to read, and well-positioned. The seat is of good quality and moves smoothly along its track. Options for activity settings are intuitive and easy to use. The item folds for storage and has wheels to make it easy to move. I managed to damage the media stand (my fault) so I contacted Customer Services, my experience with Customer Services was a lot better than I could have reasonably hoped for. Annabell was incredible, she answered all of my e-mail questions very quickly and was extremely helpful. My problem was resolved to a degree that delighted me, I was sent a replacement part in an astonishingly quick time and I was not charged, despite the damage being caused by me. Irrespective of the price, this rowing machine is excellent in every way as is the customer service that backs it up. From a value perspective, you will not be disappointed, the only thing less than expected for this rowing machine was its price. What a deal I got, a great product with excellent Customer Service for a bargain price, there is nothing more that I can say about my purchase other than I recommend the product and the Seller in the highest terms, I cannot imagine that any Buyer would be disppointed. ... show more

Style: 01-Magnetic Rower
I tentatively purchased Style 01 of the Yosuda Rowing Machine. It was a nice price and there was a generous coupon, so financially it was a very good deal. But I was concerned that the quality might be lacking, and some of the other reviewers said it was too short; they'd had to return it for the larger model. Well, I'm happy to report that the machine is solid and well-made and at my current build (5'10" (178cm) and 300lbs), it's a good fit and feels comfortable to use. My 5' girlfriend tried it too and found it easy to use and fun. Once everything was out of the box, putting the machine together was straightforward. Have a space to lay everything out and you'll be fine. There are a lot of bolts and washers and various pieces, but everything is numbered and labeled and the only required tools are included in the box. The instructions are fairly clear. The illustrations could be a little more detailed (it wasn't always clear how the pieces fit together or where exactly to attach the bolts) but this is a minor quibble. With a little patience and focus, it all makes sense. I'm in my upper 60s, overweight, and have arthritic knees, which is why I was looking for a low-impact workout. With that in mind, this machine sits low to the floor, making it a little difficult to get on and off. I may need to find a sturdy way to raise it up, or put it next to a grab bar. Again, this is user-specific and it may not be an issue for people in better shape than I am. Once on the rower, however, I felt comfortable and secure. The action is smooth and natural -- pretty much exactly what I was hoping for given my previous experience on an expensive rower in a gym many years ago. Style: 04-Water Rowing Machine
Pretty great machine, especially for the price! (My set up is just the machine on an equipment mat on hardwood.) Pros: The machine was extremely easy for 1 person to set up and the instructions were clear to follow. Noise isn’t really a factor to me considering it’s a water rower, but I will say the sound it does produce is relaxing and enjoyable. The bluetooth connection works fine for the app I’ve tried it with, you just have to do a few strokes first to “activate” the bluetooth as simply turning the monitor on does not seem to. In terms of actually working out on it, I’m extremely pleased so far. I’ve used it multiple times a week, every week, for 8 months and haven’t noticed much wear. The seat is comfortable enough for the 30-60 minute sessions I typically do and I’m able to work up a good sweat on it (at resistance level 1, as well). I also love the double rail set up as it always feels more sturdy to me than a low-midrange single rail machine. A major pro so far has been customer service. I’ve reached out about 2 things and they’ve been extremely helpful and responsive both times. Most recently, it came time to add fresh water purifying tabs and I reached out to customer service to find out about the water capacity for each resistance level in order to determine how much to put in and they actually measured and got back to me. 10/10. Cons: The foot pedals that come with the water rower have a tri-glide mechanism, not velco straps, and they’re arranged so you tighten pulling away from the machine/your foot instead of towards. For me, this makes it difficult to tighten the straps while my foot is in the machine. The straps also loosen over time during my workout, so I usually stop a few times throughout to remove my foot, retighten and slot back in. Not a huge deal but velcro or something else would be much better in my opinion. Also, fwiw, I wear a size 8.5 women’s and the straps are just a touch higher than ideal across my foot. I’ve owned this for a month. I’m 6’3” so I bought the pro version. I’ve used it 10-15 times for 30 minutes per session. It was easy to assemble. It seems solid snd well built. The seat slide is very smooth. The machine is very quiet. I’ve owned an elliptical for years, but I prefer the machine now. It provides an aerobic workout for so much of your body.
