    • Found several objects well, cheap battery cover
It was easy to set up using the pictures rather than the words. The battery cover is cheap and fell off within 15 minutes. I will have to use tape to keep it on and closed. I love that it uses 9V batteries instead of AA, C, or D, but rechargeable would be ideal. By default, iron detection is disabled, but it can be enabled. Other metals can be turned off, but the top 4 are always on. The other included features are excellent as well. I was able to "find" my ring easily. I also found a buried aluminum wrapper. It found another object; we dug about 6 inches and could not reach it; the soil was arid. We could hear we were close to a pipe, which may have been related to that. All pieces of this detector are easily adjustable and can fit adults to kids. The weight is decently light considering the pieces involved. These are extremely fun to own when you live near beaches and parks where people of course naturally will lose things. My son and I will typically find loose change or jewlery but mainly a lot of coins! He finds it fun. Everything in the box is included! It’s pretty accurate, I do rate this one on the high end of devices for sure! ... show more

This is my first metal detector and I wanted something I could do when I’m out fishing next to the lake. My pole is in the water and I’m waiting and rather than just sit there. I thought it might be kind of cool to go check along the waterline for Gold or money. I’m just getting it set up now and reading the book, but I’ll update it with some more photos down by the water as I get them. I’m also going to test with some metals that I bury in my backyard to see how far down and how accurate it can be before I go out on the side of the lake. This is a very nice metal detector. Every coin has a different sound. Comes with a hand held shovel and when you flipped it it’s a pick. This is very good for the beach, parks, and areas where you might find gold too. ... show more

This thing is a blast. I showed my age this past weekend walking up and down the beach swinging it back and forth. It actually works well. I found various metal things under the sand. Mostly coins an such. No big diamond rings and gold stash. Never the less it is fun to use and it works.

Oh, I have officially become addicted to metal detecting. I received this detector and was able to assemble myself (without the help of my kids because I am technically challenged lol). I love the LCD monitor and that this is rather lightweight and easy to carry. I went to my local park and walked around with it for about 10 minutes when I pinpointed on a nickel.     • Great detector for fun treasure hunting!
I haven't field tested this yet but ran it though tests here at home and this is a wonderful detector with nice range! Had no issues identifying different materials and even got everything that I buried 14: down so that was impressive! Great kit that we look forward to testing out fully this weekend!
