I haven’t used these exactly as intended yet but they’re awesome. So far I have only used these in my kitchen with those little apple shaped traps. The stem for these fits perfectly in the top of the apple thing and within a day the fruit fly issue was WAY better and there were a huge amount of flies on these yellow sticky things. My chive plants were infested with thrips. Tiny bugs that suck the water out of them. By the time I got the stakes, the plant was too far gone and the sticky sticks barely worked to attract the insects.

Learned the hard way have to wear gloves to put them on the sticks. They have a super tiny edge thats impossible to just hold onto without touching the sticky part. That is why I gave 4 stars. They have caught quite a few flying bugs (mosquito, gnat, etc.) Would probably buy again.
