  • Only thing that worked
Number of Items: 1
Listen, getting rid of bugs is hard. But this stuff legitimately works. I’ve tried the sprays, the gas, other baits and traps, and they never put a dent in the problem. If you live in an apartment, bugs come back quickly. This stuff is so easy to use, just take a little bit and put it where you notice activity. They take the bait and feed it to the nest. You can actually see that there’s no bait left after they’ve eaten it all, and you can reapply when you need to. Just make sure you’re cleaning up any food residue (wipe your counters and stove and don’t leave food laying around) and this stuff will get them gone. It does take a little while to see them completely disappear because they have the ability to survive for a long time without food or water, but I can’t recommend this stuff enough. ... show more

  • Work great! Will get the job done
Number of Items: 1
I was doubtful this thing would work, boy was I wrong! Got rid of a 15 year infestation!!! Keeping the kitchen clean every night and put this thing out under the fridge and stove sometimes up to 3x a day cus they would eat it up so fast every day for two weeks I did this in the beginning and every morning I’d wake up to dead ones sometimes some barely walking. By the end of the second week I noticed they weren’t eating it so fast anymore and less and less dead. I also put it in my living room my dining room my bedrooms and bathroom basically every room! But mostly they were in the kitchen. Now at night if I turn the lights on I don’t see anymore at all! The third and 4 week I would see 1 or 2 here and there but barely clinging on to life. Now it has been about two month I still have not seen anymore but I will reapply because the warm weather is approaching. Better to be safe than sorry! 4 tubes was more then enough for my 4 floor home (I also put some in my basement) don’t forget closets and cabinets! Apply in small beads as roaches eat in circles. ... show more

  • Get this in your bug beating arsenal!
Number of Items: 1
We randomly started seeing roaches in our kitchen after several years living in our place and never having that problem. I am TERRIFIED of bugs so you can imagine my stress when that started up. We did take several steps before ordering this product that I believe did help, so I will share them as I hope it can help others. Sorry for the long review! I put stars where I talk about this product specifically, but if you are reading this - I figure you need all the help and tips you can get!! We live in a condo and one of our kitchen walls is on the opposite side of our neighbor's. (She claims to not have seen any bugs, but that is another story for another day.) We started by identifying where we were seeing the bugs (floor, countertop, wall?) and it was mostly closest to the side we share with her. We often get up pretty early (4 - 6 AM a lot) and that is one of the times I would see one randomly appear. One day, I was in the kitchen and turned my back for a minute while cooking and when I turned back there was one in our coffeemaker area, right above the dishwasher! I later realized it came from the tiny sliver of space that is above our dishwasher (I eventually witnessed it come out) and that is a very common hiding space so you will definitely want to investigate this area in your home. They also really like coffee, apparently, which made sense why those mornings I would see them near this space. We did use some diatomaceous earth as one of the first steps, though I probably went a bit heavy with that in some of the more common corners and areas, so be careful near your dishes, silverware, cookware storage etc. I think it's effective for sure and was so desperate for solutions, but sometimes I still see little puffs of powder on a pan or something and that is annoying. Next, we cleared our countertops as much as possible to minimize the hiding spaces for them and make them easier to spot (no loaves of bread out, no bananas, etc). We saw one right below a cabinet, on the wall, so we cleared that side of cabinets, using plastic bags to pack up our teas, canned goods and other things -- moving them to a different cabinet where we never see them come from. We made sure bags like chips, packs of cookies like Oreos, cereal, sugar, spices, coffee are closed well with a chip clip, and packed away. Then, we closed off those bags (just a simple knot for easy access) but that gave us peace of mind that nothing was getting in our pantry/food items. Next, you MUST seal out any new bugs. Look beneath and on the side of any of those wall cabinets. If there is a gap or space of any size between the wall and the fixture, you need to seal it with caulk. Even a tiny hole should be filled, especially if you share a wall with a neighbor. For under our sink where the pipes go far back, I used diatomaceous. After all food was stored away, holes and gaps were sealed and some more unreachable areas were diatomaceous we did see a significant decrease. Look into how these insects reproduce. It takes so many days for them to mature etc and you want to minimize them being able to grow eat and live. About the Advion ***** We only used it near the spaces we saw bugs the most. I followed most of the suggestions and placed a small dot onto a few little pieces of cardboard (tear up a clean tampon box or something). Because this is BAIT, we didn't want to attract them in areas they weren't really coming from. We were already going out of town for a few days so it was perfect because I did not want to see the bugs come out to get the bait (I never did witness that, though for the record). We put a few squares into the cleared out cabinets, I did a dab or two in the area above the dishwasher (out of sight, so hopefully they'd eat it before I see them), we slid a square under the stove, and I did a dab right behind it as well because we have a little gap there too and a bug had gotten away from me one day under the stove (yuck). We ended up removing the bottom drawer of the stove to access it for cleaning underneath. Get this area VERY well to get any crumbs, gooey stuff, grime... all things they feed on. You may be shocked to see what is under your stove feeding or giving them hiding spots. If you're in doubt about a hole or opening, either caulk it up or determine if that maybe somewhere worth baiting them. I liked the application of this because they give you 4 tubes. We didn't even use one whole one, so we still have 3 left. I really like that you get a reusable pointy tip to distribute the product (be sure to rinse well and let it air dry before storing back into the case). I used something sharp, pointy to clear excess product from the applicator tip. They say don't use a lot of it, but under our stove we found a significantly sized gap/opening near the gas line that runs into the ground. These type of areas are perfect hiding/transport spots for them! So we kind of gunked it up around there, as we didn't plan on going back to look anytime soon, if all went well. And hopefully they'd have a nice layer of bait to "eat through" before they could even travel or hide in the hole. We stopped seeing bugs within the same week. ******* Journey continued: I was skeptical at first, since I had been seeing one or two a week, sometimes 2 days in a row. I absolutely think this product is worth buying, but if you REALLY want to combat your bug problem you need to inspect where they're coming from, seal openings and clear ANY hiding and food sources! - I think the diatomaceous helped in the short term while we completed the other steps and waited for this product to come, but again be super careful with that stuff it can be messy and just annoying to clean up. I would only use it SPARINGLY in places you can very easily clean later. Also, avoid treating with diatomaceous or boric and then immediately using bait. Apparently you shouldn't really use both at the same time, because the diatomaceous can negate other treatments... while we did use both, a few weeks had passed between the DE and Advion. - If you can, try to "watch" where they come from or try to hide from you before killing it, try to do that so you can see where they are getting in/out or hiding (note: apparently you are not supposed to smash them, I use a bug spray, pick it up and clean the area immediately). Ex: The bug that got away from me ran under the stove so that is how we figured to clean + bait under there. - Do your research. I think this stuff works great but if your problem is really bad already or seems to be getting worse, you may want to consider the IGR (insect growth regulators) as well. We never ended up purchasing any of that but look into when/how to use those to help you. I think I covered most of the tips and I wish you the best of luck. Bugs are such a terrible stress so I hope you can get some peace again soon!! ... show more

  • Worked GREAT Crawlers beware!!
Number of Items: 1
My father's home got infested after letting a friend use his washer because she had problems and toted a creepy crawler in.beware of others things you never know..ugh I worked my A off getting the job done. With 3 months of cleaning refrigerator stove microwaves and all nooks and crannies treating first with talspar spray outside and inside before my clean everywhere in conjunction after clean with diatomaceous earth applied under stove and refrigerator worked freaking wonders a little goes along ways and with sticky pads combat bait 1 syringe, first then went back with 1 syringe syngenta bait, along with gentrol point source. I used a bulb and removed all outlets and put the diatomaceous earth in all of them in kitchen that's where markings were as I was cleaning a small puff is all you need wear a mask!! I scrubbed everything down and that is key plug holes and fix water leaks. I started a small area at a time and cleaned with decluttering. I did put sticky pads down first after 1st spray and it was party time with a stomping match....!! After completely cleaning/sanitizing kitchen was about 3 month process total and gone because once you start you'll have to preclean each time as its alot better to wipe down then pressure washing again!!!. I went back and started the process step by step. Hope this helps..1st clean declutter fix leaks and seal molding cracks etc..2nd Spray outside the perimeter then spray inside wear PPE no humans nor animals in home for at least a couple hours until it dries. 3rd put sticky pads down. I put 3 at fridge a couple on counters different areas of the floors in kitchen, you will see the rapture coming. 4th recleaned refrigerator because they cling to it and the nymphs will get inside freezer and fridge so clean and clean and underneath be careful of fan and components I did this because he couldn't afford a new fridge, if you can buy new great clean and kill all before buying new trust me...After floor dried under fridge then dust the diatomaceous earth lightly but cover the whole area under fridge a little goes a long ways then I took a small broom and made sweeping Mark's so it was even you only want them to walk over it not through a snow storm just needs to get on the legs... I will stress pull plate off front bottom of fridge as the nymph sacs will be stuck everywhere and they are very small crush them when you find them. Spot check when cleaning everywhere to rid of the sacs. They multiply like by the 1000s...AND TAKE TRASH OUT everyday if possible no food no crumbs stay clean wipe up!!..After dusting over head cabinets under stove and fridge behind wall outlets I also treated areas in bedrooms under beds and behind dressers lightly because the dust will make a cloud but will clear wash bedding!!! Wipe off dressers and tables etc it's safe but clean dont get treated areas wet because it wont work...Put down new sticky pads after this process to keep up with activity and quantity (big to nymphs).. 4th 1 week later I spot cleaned again then took combat max bait and applied small pea size dots everywhere in cabinets not where food and sanitary items are placed, you can put in around the area like corner of a cabinet door back corner of cabinet wall and hit the door hinges too! I put a smaller dot around parts of a window doors molding any open cracks and areas where pets and humans wont mess with it. Then remove old sticky pads apply new make sure to keep putting them in same areas to keep up with progress. 5th 2 weeks later I spot cleaned again removed combat bait that was visible then started process of syngenta bait basically same areas as before but move it around this will kill 3rd generation bugs!!! Then I put the gentrol disks in back of cabinet under sink one on back of fridge between stove and cabinet space them out put them behind a hutch etc hide them from the eye make sure wear PPE pop bulb and stick them up. Remove all sticky pads and put new down. Each step you take if you follow this it Works!!! I'll stress again clean and clean and clean you'll never be too clean. This process is ugly and the pads are not pretty but stay the course and if you're embarrassed dont have friends over or keep them out of the sensitive areas!! With each step and after 2 weeks of the syngenta bait down I cleaned again didnt touch any bait and put new pads down... NOTHING not a speck or spot!!! Works wonders. I didnt have help this was definitely a learning curve for me. I hate bugs but my dads 73 and old school so we children have to HELP you dont need to pay an exterminator its costly just PPE up be strong and work through it!! Keep an eye out dont remove pads leave them be because you wanna keep seeing the progress and no new tracks. 3 months replace gentrol disks clean and reapply syngenta bait in different areas and spray the perimeter again outside with talspar or compare and save whatever works for you to keep maintenance going that's the trick to staying clean!! Then every 3 months treat again. You can take up pads if there no presence of crawlers. I tore a couple pads into 4 small pieces and hid them from sight just to keep up. Hope this helps!! Flys silverfish stink bugs spiders etc. this process works for all!!! Make sure change out the gentrol because this keeps them from reproducing its birth control males /females and females cant have nymphs and you'll find deformed bugs their wings will be split and dried up bugs sweep everyday. Follow steps clean and clean fix leaks seal cracks and its party time and you'll be finished before that next dinner with family!!!! Good luck Syngenta is the bomb but keep then gentrol point source going along with it every 3 months because this is birth control!!! ... show more
