I have this net in my side yard down in Southwest Florida. It's there all the time and I use it just about every day, great for taking a break. Once I put it up, I never take it down and it stays in place for about 3-4 years until the salt air gets to it. This time it was Hurricane Ian.. so It would have lasted yet another year. The hitting mat with its rubber tees go in place, and are staked down permanently with the handy aluminum stakes provided. This is my third one, and when it wears out 3-4 years from now, I will order my fourth! And yes you can use it in your garage and lean it against the wall if need be to get it out of the way. ... show more

    • Great Buy!
Got it for my son for Christmas. Even when there is snow on the ground he will take it out to the parking lot. My only issue is that it is hard to pull the pieces apart when putting away in the bag. We have had to have someone on each end a couple times to pull them apart.

The net is holding up well, it's pretty easy to set up, takes me like 8 minutes. However the practice mat is super cheap. Fell apart after like 3 uses.

The media could not be loaded. I've had this net now for several weeks and used it quite a bit (maybe 500 balls so far?) and it's held up very well. The design is awesome and the net QUIETLY stops your balls unlike others I've tried before. Took me about 10 min to set up the first time but you can definitely do it in less than 5 if you know how it goes. Comes with a nice carry case too. This year I wanted to set up an outdoor practice area since I just had a baby and can't get to the golf course as much as I used to. I tried a couple other less expensive nets ($40 and $80; the white netting in the comparison photo) and there really is no comparison to this one. This Rukket net will clearly last many years - the material is just plain better than the cheaper ones. I hit my driver about 285 and it easily stops the balls! With the other nets I tried, I put holes in them after 5 minutes of practice but this one is still going strong. To be safe I also bought a loose reinforcement net (GoSports Universal Golf Practice Net Extender) I just hook onto this one to help improve the longevity and use foam balls for my driver/fairway woods, but Rukket has a lifetime guarantee which is a huge bonus. I didn't use the provided mat much to be honest (I have a bigger one I got on Amazon for $80 as you can see in the pictures) but this Rukket bundle came with a few tees that will work with the provided mat.     • A little hard to assemble
The net works great. However I had to use a hammer to tap one side together and to get the same side to slide back out. I decided to leave it set up where it is, rather than taking it apart every time I use it. Other than that, I'm hitting real golf balls with no concern about the net stopping them. The mat is rather difficult to actually stick a tee into. I ended up drilling a small hole through the mat and cutting the tip off my tee as the plastic tees provided did not allow me to tee the ball to my desired height. ... show more

    • Sticker shock at first, but WORTH EVERY PENNY!!
When buying a net to hit golf balls in, I was concerned about the durability of the product and if it really was big enough for that occasional "slider" off to the side. I mean, if a person is going to be hitting hard objects into the net, how long will it take the abuse? Eventually it'll deteriorate with the abuse. Also, I didn't want to spend $300 on a big "professional" net setup (to be honest I wasn't happy with spending $150 for this). Just something in my back yard to whack balls into. This net IS AWESOME!! I'd easily spend the $150 again knowing what I know now. It sets up fast, can be taken down easily, comes with a "travel case" that everything packs into (though I used it once and now just leave it set up, just take down the net at night). The net is tough and thick. The ball weirdly just "dies" in the net. Occasionally with wind pulling the net taut you can get the ball to roll back to your feet, other than that the ball softly hits the net and drops down. If you're using any wedges on this net you'll have to get closer or you can shoot it over, but that shouldn't be a shock. But it isn't so close that you're "in" the net or even close to hitting it with a club during follow through. The net really is that great. The only negative I have is the mat: It works for what it is, but it isn't great. There is a lifetime warranty on it (which I'll need to use as I got chunky once and it tore in between the two of the different types. It also moves if you're a divot taker. Granted, that shouldn't be surprising and the mat doesn't get torn up doing it (though I think over time it will). All in all this is a great net, and I'd HAPPILY pay the money for it.     • The company stands behind it's products
The assembly instructions are not good. I had a problem with the rods inserting into the frame. I was not sure which of the legs was correct duce to there not being any indication of what the parts were suppose to look like. Although the assembly is pretty simple a better example of what should be done would be helpful. Maybe you could do a video online actually showing the assembly as versus the colorized images you are currently using. The net and frame seem to be sturdy I have only had the net for a couple of days so I cannot speak to the durability of the product. Overall I would give an excellent rating to the produce and service. I phoned to find an answer to my question regarding the installation of the poles your representative did not seem knowledgeable of the product. His main response was we will replace the unit, which I was not asking to be done at that time. I wanted to know was the plastic tube designed with a curve or was it to be straight as the other side is. It was resolved and I am now waiting for the insert to arrive. It was a good feeling knowing that you would have replaced the unit if it needed to be. This was a great example of actually helping the customer. Thank you. ... show more
