This is not for People who need a serious amount of support or are looking for an extremely soft mattress. It is comfortable and I can sleep on it without waking up to aches and pains the next day. It’s a great option for guests or a few nights. I think it does the job. I would buy it again.

In short; save yourself some money buy a milliard memory foam mattress. It’s cheaper, better quality, way batter looking and comes as advertised unlike this one. I ordered this in August 2023. It arrived well enough. Unpacked it, it never inflated to advertised width after days of waiting. It has wood smell and want very comfortable, it had many lumps. Returned it, it’s now January of the next year and I’m still waiting for my money to be returned to me. CONSIDER THIS A WARNING ... show more

    • Strong smell.
The paper insert that came with this mattress referred to a "slight smell" that would be present after opening. Understatement of the century! It reeked. I let the mattress air out outside for a day and a half, and it still smelled by the time I had to bring it inside. Several days later, and the smell is much, much more tolerable, though still present. I gave the mattress about 48 hours before sleeping on it to let it puff out, but that didn't seem to be quite enough. Now that I've had it for roughly a week, it's much, much more comfortable. It never rose to 8 inches thick, though; it's much closer to ~6". (This is a complaint I have personally seen on a lot of futon mattresses across the board, though.) I am satisfied with this mattress, and I do like it a lot, but the smell was truly awful. If you are sensitive to smells, perhaps prone to migraines as I am, please do take this into consideration before purchasing. ... show more

I was concerned about this futon mattress bc I put it on the floor folded in half & I have a bad back. It was amazing!! It was form fitting & had support where I needed. Very comfy. I recommend this futon mattress.

Arrived, unpacked and laid it out. Nice initially, but after a few days seemed to really flatten out where we usually sat. I thought the price was too good, especially delivered. It is ok, but not if you want to sit on it.

Finally getting quality sleep! I can totally get a good nights sleep. I was skeptical about it at first but the memory foam is great! It just takes about 3 days for the bed to fully expand from it's delivery compression.
