Easy to assemble. Follow the instructions and it is solid and sturdy (saw a negative review where someone decided to put the wheels on opposite end - mistake). Admittedly thinner metal with leaks, but $15 on smoker seal gasket makes it as tight as high-priced smokers. Great value, does a great job smoking, and incredible amount of grill space. Because of the half-shell design, more smoke and heat comes out the lid than the top vent. Charcoal pan in main chamber is VERY flimsy. Just spend the extra hundo and get an Oklahoma Joe's, at a minimum.
