This product is not only the QUILTER'S FRIEND, but EVERY SEWER'S FRIEND. The quality of the tools is so awesome. This set contains not only one rotary cutter, but two. The 45mm rotary cutter is what most quilters are used to, but the 28mm rotary cutter is easy to use on small areas, as well as intricate materials like sheer or metallic material. Besides only using the rotary cutters for quilting, try using them for cutting out patterns, or cutting ribbon or anything else. The mat that comes in this set, as well as the quilting rulers are made of the highest quality materials. The clips help hold the fabric in place when cutting material or ribbon. I also love the fact that the 45mm rotary cutter is PURPLE and the cutting mat is PINK!!!! Lastly, I just thought I would mention that my husband asked me if he could "borrow" my rotary cutter, but didn't tell me what he needed it for. He actually used it to open a hard plastic encased item and said it worked better than an exacto knife or scissors. So... there are so many uses beyond "quilting" you could use this set for. You definitely get the bang for your buck with this purchase. I was a little skeptical at first because it was such a good deal, but I am so happy I got it. It comes with everything you need double sided self healing board, rotary cutter (x2) with replacement blades for both, two different sizes quilting rulers and cute little clips. And the best part is it's purple 💜 which makes almost anything better. Would make a great gift for someone ... show more

I may have not measured and just ordered the first one I saw, but it was worth it! The mat is a bit small for my projects but helps alot with the others. It comes with clips that are the best thing in the sewing world to have. Mat has been used tons and still no sign of being cut on. I don't really use the small roller much but both keep things safe when little fingers are near. Safety lock is great and close for one hand use. I may get the bigger one now ... show more

Love that this came with extra blades for both sized cutters. All the extra clips and smaller plastic boards for measuring. Perfect for me being in a small space. I can set up on the counter like this and then easily put it all away. Reversible, the other side is pink.

Great quality cutting mat cutters and blades are average but great that you get extra blades your set to go for several projects before needing to buy more blades the rulers are perfect thickness nice defined lines

    • The rulers are great
The rulers are great- the cutting mat is too small for adult size quilt piecing & cutting. The rotatory cutter does not work well. It does does not cut very well. It does cut but it and seems to catch and snag the fabric. The set came with one blade replacement, been using it for about a week. If you do a much quilting you might want to invest in a better rotatory cutting tool. Actually the set did come with a second cutting too, but it does not have a finger protector so I haven't used it. I have made a lot of use of the rulers.
