This is a great helicopter for learning to fly! Took it outside yesterday and flew it. Crashed into our car and went to look for it and could not find it. Neighbor came over and brough it to me. The media could not be loaded. This helicopter is fun to fly once you learn the controls. It’s also study—as I crashed it by accident a BUNCH and it stayed intact. It definitely should only be used indoors, since any little breeze can hinder the controls. It would be better if the battery lasted longer or if it came with back-up batteries because it has a pretty short battery life. But overall a good value for a fun little RC flyer! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We got this for my son’s 7th birthday. He was so excited we took it outside, without reading any instructions we made it fly so high and then lost control and boom, it was gone with the wind to faaar away to some other neighborhood. It lasted only 20 seconds. Everybody was so sad because my son loved it so much and fun lasted only 20 seconds. First thing first : don’t fly it too high outdoors, because you will loose control over it and it’s so light in weight that wind can take it fly away. After it was gone, we were looking for it everywhere around other neighborhood, where I was guessing the location of it. 4 hours of search and nothingg! Everybody gave up on it, then I got reminded that it had a blinking light on it and it The Blink Could Be Visible during night time. It actually might be easier to find it during night instead of day. And Boom! I was right ! I found it on top of the tree. I was so amazed that It was still blinking after about 6 hours (What A Powerful Battery!). I ran back home, got remote, and actually was able to fly it and land it safely. OMG how my son was happy (you can only imagine)when he saw that I found it!!! It’s been about month, he is still playing with that every day. It has to batteries, all the time we are charging one while playing with another. 2 batteries together will be around ~25 minutes fun. It has fantastically realistic control, turns and flight. Even I as an adult enjoy playing with that. Only one thing, if you don’t want to loose it don’t fly it outdoors, at least don’t fly it too high. Because it really flies almost as high as real helicopter. Amazing gift, amazing toy for kids. Ever since we only play with it indoors. Thank you for making it that Cool! Don't get me wrong...I understand you can't always expect something for a cheap but I recently bought another drone for $29.99 that offers more features than an almost uncontrollable flight like this copter. I'll go ahead and list what this copter doesn't offer that my less than $30 drone came with. 1) Obstacle Avoidance, it's like night and day 2) 3 speeds 3) flip & roll mode 4) 4k dual angle camera which is likely a 3k 5) 2 rechargable batteries 6) fly away/come back when battery is low 7) 4 extra prop sets 8) foldable carrying case (Name of drone is listed at the bottom...) To be fair I'll say the copter drone looks so sweet, the sleek body on the copter is so aesthetically pleasing. Battery life for the copter beats the other drone hands down, you get a good deal of fight time which I'm assuming why my other drone came a second battery that's super easy to change out when needed. It's my understanding that I'll be able to use another brand of RC battery thus extending the flight time but haven't had a chance to look into that just yet. Given the lack of features not offered by the copter it's easy to understand why battery time is great. This is a great part of why we gave the copter one star. It's not at all easy to fly, it takes a good deal of time figuring out how to successfully control direction, drift, and speed on this RC copter. Even still we spend more time recovering from crashing. I'm not at all happy to how hit or miss trimming the drift actually is on the copter. There's no real way know how affective each tap of the the trim buttons is actually being applied. You just have to go for it...this totally frustrated my nephew when we first started using the copter, if anything he gained a real lesson on patience. Much of the latter two points is due to inconsistent response time between remote and the RC device. Though it can be better with fully charged batteries in both units but not consistently so. That slow response plays a huge factor in all the crash and burn scenarios. Very recently we've noticed an increase in oversteering issues, perhaps caused by the many crashes, it seems inevitable that issues will only increase with all the banging around. s My son, my nephew and I had bought the copter as part of our shared interest in flying drones as a long term hobby. Something we hope to experience together, we definitely understand you have to start somewhere and crashing will be part of that growth. We already know that responsivenesss should get better as we learn the nuances of each RC units and in how much we put into our new hobby. Unfortunately we feel the copter is overpriced for what little it offers despite we appreciate the overall experience. We definitely suggest doing lots of homework before making a purchase. The copter is indeed durable given how many times it's crashed, we'll give it that for sure but still not worth more than one star. Anyway, we added the name and source link below detailing where we found it because everyone should have more options. Hope this review helps someone... I thought it was the bigger model that's how it looked in the description but actually it's a mini helicopter fits in about the palm of your hand, was really disappointed about the size, seems a little more difficult to fly than the bigger model... glad it had two batteries as you only got about four five minutes flying time, flies better indoors. ... show more
