  • Great crawler, even better support
Color: Blue
Great support. If something arrives broken or ends up broken, Redcat sends replacement without hesitation. I own multiple RC’s and redcat’s support has been so much extra compared to bigger brands like Armma or Traxxas. They offer live chat, and don’t push you to find a solution to your own problem. Unlike my Armma, whose product arrived with wobbly ass wheels and wouldn’t connect to the remote, they told me to purchase replacements myself since it was “wear and tear”. It ARRIVED like that! Traxxas and Armmas support also asks for too much information, and you can only contact them via email (it takes them a week to reply back!) Redcat offered a replacement within a few minutes (live chat) and it shipped quickly as well. The car itself is great as well. Metal gears, portal axles, great servo and motor. Climbs as well as crawlers double the price. It also looks great with a really stiff and rigid chassis and metal shocks. Really durable as well. Dropped it upside down from 5ft without the body and the only damage was the metal corner flattening a little. I run a 5200 battery mainly but if I’m too lazy to charge and storage it, I use a small 1800mah battery. It has insane battery life. I can go for a week without charging the 1800 battery. Maybe I’m used to bashers and on road cars but insane battery life. Fun. Only cons are the suspension have very very very little flex, and its slower than me walking. ... show more

  • Very good beginner/budget LCG with portal axles
Color: Red
The media could not be loaded. For the price, you can't beat it! This thing is a very capable crawler. The blue one's body style would have worked better for my uses but the red just looks so pretty on this truck. You get an LCG and portal axles for this price! I did play with this thing stock and it works really well if it's for a kid or someone new to crawling. It does not come with batteries so you'll have to factor that in. I currently run this on a 2200mah 3s lipo and I get amazing times. I like to upgrade/mod things and this crawler already has some pretty good aftermarket support. Transmitter feels pretty nice in the hand and it's very easy to use. So far I've only done light modifications to this (wheels, tires, springs, shock oil, body trimming). I will say though, the ESC is kind of loud and the drag brake on it isn't the best. ESC will probably be my next upgrade for it. ... show more

  • Truck
Color: Red
Nice remote control car , easy to handle , easy to break but climbs hills really well and parts are cheap

  • Best bang for your buck
Color: Blue
The media could not be loaded. I’ll admit it’s a slippery slope with upgrades. I ended up doing a lot to this truck that I never thought I would when I bought it. Probably spent an extra hundred dollars with a brushless fusion se 1800kv motor/esc plus some weights. Being able to take the back off of the blue body is the key to avoid body the wheels rubbing the body. But man, this crawls as well as a $1000 custom built comp crawler. It outperforms the scx10 every time. I’m so impressed with this truck. You can always add things down the road. But the bones of the ascent are hard to beat. It’s just a good crawler. I have one full size crawler. This is it. It rocks. That’s all I can say. ... show more

  • Impressive for the price
Color: Blue
I am an scx fan but when Redcat brought this out i was curious to try it and it was worth it. Its an LCG with the option to over drive the front axle with a quick gear change in the transmission. The stock tires aren't bad and it has the gen 9 portals. The only down side is the stiff shocks which is an easy fix with a spring swap. Well worth the $300 ... show more

  • Great starter rig right of the box.
Color: Red
Got for my sons 8th birthday as we have a course in the back yard. He loves it. It can take a bashing. Runs pretty quick on 3s battery. And very manageable on 2s for some one learning. Great ready to run rig.

  • Crawler
Color: Blue
It's a comp crawler that's all but for me I turned it into a tow truck so the 2 piece blue body was perfect for my build, sure it has good crawling tires but they are glued on plastic rims, got enough wheel speed right out of the box, hopefully my new hobbywing fusion se 1200kv gives the same wheel speed but not too worried if it doesn't, for the price you can't beat it for a cheap way to get a fully functional comp crawler without having to buy one and then mod it out for like $400-$1000 cuz just a different motor setup and tires and beadlock rims can get you to enjoy some competition for less amount of money ... show more

  • Looks and Quality
Color: Red
I like this RC Truck. It looks really cool. It works great right out of the box. Even the box it came in looks good. It has a low center of gravity. So it is a good climber. It is heavier than my other RC Truck of the same 1/10 scale. It must be built a little sturdier. The Venom 5000, 30C, 2 Cell, 7.4 Volt battery works good in it. The battery came with 3 adaptors so it will work with other RC vehicles. I also have a 1984 Chevy Base Camp K10 Rock Crawler. This battery also works with that truck. ... show more
