I purchased this for a week long trip to use over a camp fire. It folds nice and flat so it’s easy to transport. The legs open and it stands tall enough to fit over a fire. I used foil for easier cleanup but it’s not necessary. I cooked over a fire for seven days using this grill and it didn’t warp or function any different than when it was new. The only thing I wish was different is to have locking legs. If you don’t have a level surface or use rocks to steady it, it tends to tip.
