My daughter has Down Syndrome so at 10, she still hasn’t mastered swimming but she weighs more than 38 lbs which most of the swim vests like this is standard 20-40 lbs! This is adjustable to fit around her @49 lbs and the comfortable strap underneath even has a small piece of comfortable fabric so it doesn’t chafe the legs in between!!! My kid loved the unicorns. The under strap with the cover is a great idea, it does help a little. But my 3 y/o was a little small so the cover just slid to the back.

I bought this floaty for my grandson. It’s an excellent floaty it’s not really bulky so he can move around without it being in the way like some floaty are really nicely through the legs. It’s super cute he was in love with it because it had dinosaurs on it, I highly recommend this floaty.
