    • It's fun. Mind how you store it.

This is a fun low-end drone. It does have internal gyros and it will auto lift on its own. I was hoping if would be more stable, but it tended to drift. Not much, and there may be a calibration issue I can address. If you plan to put this away for a while and store between uses, I highly recommend you keep the original box and half-clamshell to hold it. If you store it outside that, as I did on a shelf, anything pushing against the foam wing for an extended time could push the wing out of shape. The drone still flew, but it was even more drifty. And now I have to try to rehabilitate it. Of course at this price point, I can just buy another easily. Drone came with two batteries. DO NOT LOSE THE SPECIALIZED USB CABLE CHARGER. ... show more

Haven't successfully played with it even one time because one of the propellers comes off every time we start it up, tried gluing it half a dozen times and it didn't work.

Doesn't always fly right but this has been a ton of fun to play with my neices and nephews. The remote control actually gives you a ton of control over it, except in certain scenarios where it lacks agility. I could never get other toy drones to fly well, but this is very easy and all of the kids took turns and were able to keep it aloft (while the battery lasted). My biggest complaint is probably the little battery it uses, which only lasts maybe 10-20 minutes of flight time depending on usage. 2 of the 3 kids got to fly it after I showed them how, but by the time we passed it to the third - it had to be taken inside to charge up again. Also try to avoid windy areas, as this is made of a lightweight foam and will get blown sideways fairly quick. You are at the whim of the air around you, and I was tempted to fly it inside instead but it moves too fast and would end up being very sketch when trying to avoid obstacles and people. Overall, this is likely the best little toy drone I've used so far and a lot of fun, but to remain so lightweight they had to reduce battery life. After a few crashes it's a bit smashed and beat up, but still flies just fine somehow, so I will definitely consider it "Kid crash tested and approved" lol. The spare parts are a nice touch and we've gotten a lot more flight time out of the drone because of them. ... show more

Our 7 year old Grandson really liked getting this as a gift for his birthday. It is, of course, a remote controlled device. I've spent some good times with him teaching him how to use it, and actually it's a lot of fun, and easy once you get the hang of it. This is a very durable Drone, and no matter how many times he crashed it during the learning process it managed to endure. As described it is a gyro scope controlled copter, and great for beginners. I know we will have a lot of fun with this for a long time. Makes a great gift, is nominally priced, and makes it fun for kids and adults to enjoy together. ... show more

Bought this for my sons birthday and definitely regret it. It is made very cheaply of a strange plasticy/foamy material and fell apart before he even got it flying. Plus the remote had very bad connection problems.

While this is not the most solid item in the world it does do its job and functions pretty well as a low cost drone. My daughter has been enjoying it and it functions pretty well so far but I don't think its going to survive to many more crashes but for the price point it's a good starter option. Battery time isn't all that large but it has its novelty and about at the end of the charge my daughters attention is ready to be elsewhere anyways. ... show more
