I have been flying remote control helicopters for years and have attempted to get in to the rc airplanes but the three that I had purchased prior to this one have been so difficult to fly. Even worse, there were so fragile that with only one or two crashes the fuselages have cracked which makes them unflyable because as of now no replacement fuselage is available. I was hesitant to waste more money but since the drones and helicopters have made so many improvements to make them more user friendly, I had hopes these rc planes have also been made more foolproof. This one was perfect. Took a little bit of skill to keep in the air but so much easier than the ones I had purchased before. That in itself makes this particular plane much more fun. Being so stable added to the material used to make the body of the plane makes this the perfect starter plane or for an older or younger flyer who finds it more difficult to master the controls. I will say it was a bit higher in price than my previous rc planes, but it was well worth the cost. I have flown it every day since the purchase and have not had to replace anything on it as of yet. It just bounces off the ground like a ball. I would say a direct hit into a tree or house would be a different story. We got this RC plane for our 15 year old who wants to be a pilot. He’s flown drones before but never an RC plane so this was a first for him. Due to the flight control assistance on this plane, he was able to have it airborne within minutes. The take off can be from the ground or from throwing it. The plane comes with 2 batteries which last approximately 15 minutes and also comes with 4 propellers (3 spares). The crash resistant foam enables the plane to handle rough landings from beginners. I found one of these planes as it had the features I was looking for (basic use, some level of automation. some spare parts) at a reasonable cost. I'm glad I did - flying it was so much fun. I’ve always wanted to fly an rc plane so I got this one. It’s made of foam and it can take some crashes! Just don’t crash into concrete. You will break the propeller but good thing it comes with 3 spares! Tons of fun to fly and really easy once your in the air with lots a open space
