It does what it says it does. It doesn't seem particularly waterproof to me, so I put the key in a plastic sandwich bag, then inside the "rock". The "rock" is sturdy and looks real. Even so, I hid it behind some other items and out of the weather where no one would find it anyway.

This does look realistic but it doesn't open easily. It's too course, so I sanded the grooves. Didn't help much. I oiled it. Didn't help. While I was fumbling around with it trying to get it open, I dropped it and it broke. I think we can do better than that.
