I ordered this for my mother who lives in an assisted living facility where people have free access to her apartment. This is perfect for her rings, and the cash she has for monthly activities. It seems sturdy and is surprisingly roomy. Its easy to use, and clearly more accessible than trying to use a floor safe. I also liked that it will stay in one place, a closet, rather than a book or container safe that she could put down anywhere and then forget where she left it. With this hanger hidden safe, it's goes unnoticeable. I use it to hide my cash in the hidden pocket and is there! always there! Good safe. One can put any old and ugly sweater on the hanger safe to camouflage better the safe. but it work well without clothing too.

This is a great concept and a well made product. However, the vast majority of wood or plastic hangars are too wide. I can’t for the life of me figure out why the manufacturer didn’t extend each side of this by a mere one inch? What the hell were they thinking? I tried multiple types and brands of wood and plastic garment hangars used for suit jackets, sweaters, shirts, etc. Don’t forget that you need a robust hangar and not a flimsy wire hangar from the dry cleaner to support any weight you plan to stash inside this bag. The bag is rated for 20 pounds (unrealistic) but I’m only requiring maybe 3 - 4 pounds of weight support. There are other manufacturers of this type of product. The others I looked at on Amazon seems cheaper and thinner so not ideal at all but maybe they are wider? Look elsewhere for wider dimensions otherwise you’ll be frustrated trying to set this up in your closet. ... show more
