Enjoy its Appearance and Adjustability of Flame/Embers from almost out to full roaring Fire. The Heat feature works well, controls are not visible until door is opened, so they aren’t interrupting the Look of a Wood stove. A nice safety feature is you can turn Thermostat to Zero, has an assuring Click. So even if the low/high toggles were in on position, the heat function doesn’t kick in. We love it! I bought 6 of these in February 2024 and used them for 2 months. It's now end of October 2024 and it's just started to get cold here again so we started them back up and the power toggle switch to turn one of them to the on position, no longer turns it on. If you press it to the on position it doesn't stay. Nothing holds it in place as it once did. It flips back to off like some spring inside or something is busted? Hoping the rest keep working. No idea why it suddenly stopped clicking in place to turn the heater on, but I certainly should have gotten more than 2 months of use out of it. These are our primary source of heat. Sad. A heater for over $100.00 I expected it to work better and longer than this. Wish I could get my money back. Other than that, they are very pretty to look at. *shrug* Pretty but sadly, useless. ... show more

I have a big bedroom, bath and closet near the back door that gets opened frequently for the dogs etc. It takes the chill off and doesn’t take up a lot of space and pleasant to look at.

Moved into a place with no heat and heading into winter. I didn't want some little cheesy electric heater, so when I saw the 'flames' and nice glowing 'wood', I hoped it would be effective AND visually appealing. Good on both. Has a thermostat, so if you don't really need the heat, you can have the 'flame effect'. I love it. No issues putting it together. EDIT: Yup, loved this little heater for the TWO months it worked. Has a one month return window. Very disappointed as I am now heading into winter and it's 28 degrees at night. ... show more

I sent a fireplace back to the store because when the heater was off but fire on I could hear this metal rumbling sound. Couldnt deal with that. No sound at all with this one and the fire is great. Doesn't look as tacky as some and the fire movement is great.
