  • good for the price
i just got the cheapest i could find and it seems great. haven’t had it in the water yet but i blew it up and it’s held air all day. it’s huge and assembly was easy. instructions! - put the pump tube in the handle to blow up (inflate) and put the pump tube in the base to deflate. takes 10 minutes to assemble ... show more

  • Quality is poor
We bought this board as an extra for the kids. First of all, if I could give it a half star I would. The seal where you air it up is the worst. It was not put together right it leaked air the first time airing it up. We went to use it and there is a bubble in the board where the fin goes. This is the worst paddle board we've ever spent money on. ... show more

  • Basic Budget Board
Seeing as this was probably the least expensive board available when I purchased it, I was not expecting much. I personally like it, and for the money, I'm having fun with it. It will hold quite a bit of weight without getting swamped. I'm 250lbs and can sit on it on the back with my child who is 140lbs on the front and my other child who is 70lbs in the middle. I'm a total beginner but was able to stand up and balance okay after some practice, I think I definitely need a wider and longer board for myself. My smallest children can run up and down the board no problem so I would recommend as a nice little board for the kids. My biggest child is still practicing as we've only had it a few days but is doing pretty well. I'd recommend this board as a low investment to see if you are going to like boarding, knowing this is less stable and smaller than a board you would want to upgrade to later on if you want to stay in the sport. I'd say buy it expecting it to be a backup board or kid board. Oh, the pump ended up breaking after 1 use too. ... show more

  • SUP
We took this brand new board on our vacation so our whole family had a board. First inflation it leaks from the valve! Do not buy! I have 3 other boards and never had any leaks. I don’t understand why they would not inflate them to check for leaks. Now we are short a board and as we are camping there is no rentals available. So disappointed! On top of it they sent the WRONG valve tool that is 8 pronged and this boards valve is 6 prong! ... show more

  • It's Light, and super FUN!
This paddle board is very stable. I am a beginner at this sport, older in age, and not as athletic as I once was. This board is perfect for me. I have no problem carrying it or using it. (as long as the ocean is flat:) As for inflating it, I take my time to pump it up and down. it's not hard, and does not really take long, but does give me a bit of extra exercise. The tube that comes with the pump could be a bit better though. I have not yet had issues but it seems to be made of a material that I have had in the past and does not hold up too well. We will see. Other than that, no issues at all. It's a great product for both young and old. ... show more

  • Buyer beware
After taking this paddleboard out three times, it is already leaking around the seal where you air it up. Way too much to pay for some thing that you get three uses out of. I’ve had my other board for over two years and had no problems, it’s not from this company. Nor will my next one be.

  • Good value board, some quirks and some difficulties to note
Heads up that I received this through the Amazon Vine program. I own a couple of paddleboards, but not as many as family needs to not squabble when were at the lake, so getting another was in my future. This board is a lot less expensive than my other 'name brand' from the big warehouse store. My first impression when unpacking was wow, how is there a paddleboard packed in that tiny box, but then im biased by what ive seen before. In the box is the paddleboard, pump, pump hose, fin, three sections of paddle, leash and repair patches. Notably absent are INSTRUCTIONS!!! After fiddling around for a few minutes i leaned that to INFLATE you attach the hose to the handle of the pump, and to DEFLATE you attach the hose to base of the pump. deflating is handy to get the last of the air out to pack it away as small as possible, but what is different to my other boards and presumably a cheaper option is the VALVE. To deflate you either have to stand and hold the valve to keep it open or attach the hose to it. This will mean you need the hose or earplugs available when you are ready to pack the board away (not necessarily true). The BAG seems to be a fairly light construction and has thousands of threads hanging on it, i suspect costs were saved here too, time will tell how long it lasts. I do like that the bag has a mesh section to allow the contents to fully dry out when stored. The LEASH is a budget item too, but i strapped it to my leg and i think it would be ok for a couple of hours. Its not heavily padded, but will work. The PADDLE was a source of frustration in assembly. It comes in three sections which makes storage easy, but the top section with the handle would not go into the middle section for love nor money. Im a 200lb dude with big hands, and i got a bit of a struggle going to force it in there (if it doesnt fit force it mentality). I took a picture of the source of the friction, which was the top edge of the pole which wasnt flared at all (at least when i started.....it is now). The result is that the section is really stiff and it is marring the top section of the paddle. This would be very difficult for a child to adjust. When looking around for flashlight to investigate the paddle, i noticed there is a slight twist to the board too, looking end on at ground level you can see an asymmetry. I dont know if this will amount to much on the lake, but its there and is a build quality concern. I also noticed there is a pattern in the material near the valve which looks like the material is thinner than elsewhere. I'll keep an eye on this as a potential point of failure. Since its February in Oregon, im not going out on this for a couple more weeks, If there are any big concerns i'll update the review. Otherwise, I am impressed with the board at the price point. I like that it is a lot lighter and cheaper than my other boards and packs away a lot smaller (i got it ALL back in the bag with zero fuss and room to spare). I dont think the areas that costs were saved are going to cause me too much aggravation. ... show more
