I have had lots of phone holders. I usually feel like they are blocking too much and I can't see out the windshield. Or they don't hold the phone and every time I hit a bump, the phone falls off. My dashboard isn't a good shape to hold a phone holder so it has to go on the windshield. This one sticks well. Perfect for my galaxy phone. Easy to remove the phone w the button on the back. Of you have a case on your phone, this won't necessarily work. I have a thick otter box case and a pop socket that's very thin. My old holder worked but didn't mount well. The phone holder on this is very tight and doesn't sit well on its own holder. The ball is almost too big for the insert. I ended up just using the mount and my own holder and that worked well for me. I wanted to use the vent clip very much, but when installed on any of the vents or slats, you can no longer move/ use the vent. The mount on the windows is very sturdy though. We'll see how it handles the desert heat... ... show more

It can be reattached multiple times, it uses sticky instead of suction it seems, can move with some good angles, my only issue is the holders balljoint limit making some angles for pictures impossible as i use this to take very long exposure pictures from my car on jobs.
