As someone who does a lot meat smoking that requires a fair amount of prep I desperately needed a way to store my knives and not in the knife draw. Made of tough canvas, it's rugged and functional. Works well for all my kitchen/prep knives. Well worth the $$ paid. Highly recommended.

It's an ok starter knife case. If you're going to use it a lot, like a professional chef, a professional quality one would be better. But, they're pricey.
