The umbrella is strong, beautiful and really completes the space. We bought the umbrella not realizing the base was sold separately but customer service was helpful and quick and rushed our base to us so we could finally install. So far we’ve been really happy with this.

Keeps my swim spa a lot cooler from the sun, big difference in temp. Mechanisms are easy to operate and a lot of positions to choose from. Changing positions as you want as the sun moves can be done by anyone very easily. Down side is I wish it came with a small patch kit as I have a tight space with small trees and bushes and I have already made a 1/2 cut in it so I have to find a patch kit. Nice it has a cover when closed and its very easy to install and remove by anyone. ... show more

One year ago, we were considering either building a pergola or getting some large umbrellas... umbrellas won. These 11'x11' 360deg rotating umbrellas from Purple Leaf were really fairly priced compared to other brands. We bought 2 and installed them with in-ground mounts to create more space... I was actually happy to not have the weighted base included since I didn't need them. The umbrella setup is perfect for casting a lot of shade and I can adjust them based on the location of the sun. Furthermore, Purple Leaf has incredible customer service. Fast, thorough responses (from a human) with my earliest installation questions (prior to purchasing)... and most recently, after one year of ownership, I'd accidentally bent an umbrella rib/arm (hit with my lawnmower wheel while it was stowed down). Reached out to Purple Leaf and (no questions asked) they sent me a replacement arm and a video link on to how to do it myself. Easy. Done. I would give this item and seller zero stars if possible. My umbrella wasn’t put together properly and the bolts came out because I don’t think they were tightened properly. The seller is giving me the runaround about a refund. This thing is impossible to return. It’s twisted metal and the base is full of sand. Don’t buy this umbrella. ... show more

We ordered the cantilever umbrella, base and cover on Amazon. The umbrella pole that goes into the base was damaged. I reached out to Amazon who suggested we contact Purple Leaf directly. They couldn't have been more helpful. All the asked for was a picture of the damaged piece and they sent us a brand new one- told us to do whatever we wanted with the damaged umbrella so we donated it.
