The wife & I really like our new umbrella. It appears to be well made and easy to assemble. The wife & I really like the Lite Blue color umbrella. It looks great on our deck next to our pool. The umbrella is very easy to operate It is sturdy when open. However not sure I would want it open in anything over a 10mph wind. I don’t know what the manufacturer rates its wind rating at but I just like to error on the safe side. When we received the umbrella my wife and I were in the process of assembling it we were disappointed to find the umbrella had a hole in the fabric. The shipping package was in good condition when we received it and the umbrella was well packaged. I am guessing the hole was in the umbrella before it was placed in the box. So I promptly emailed the customer service department and received a reply back within 24 hours. They were very sorry for our inconvenience and said they would ship out a new umbrella ASAP and that we would have it in a few days. Well the new umbrella showed up at our door in 2 days. I was very impressed by this. We inspected the new umbrella and no issues with this one. Needless to say the wife & I are very please we purchased this umbrella. We got a great product and even better a company that cares about there customers and that is becoming rare in today’s society. Would highly recommend this umbrella to anyone that is in the market for one. For the money I don’t think you will find one of better quality or company to deal with. ... show more

Our first cantilever umbrella was one we paid $1700 for at a home show. It lasted about 4 years. We replaced it with one from amazon that cost $350 and it lasted about 3 years. This one cost $150 and is much nicer than the $350 one. The LED lights in the ribs work great; just be sure you get the solar top out of the box and snap it on tight. It took less than 30 minutes for two of us to put it together. The umbrella goes up and down super easily and also rotates well. It isn't top heavy like the second one we had and 4 20" x 20" pavers hold it in place well. It comes with a zippered cover and a pole to put it on and take it off without a ladder-which means I cover it every time we go out of town or I know we won't be using it for a few days; this definitely keeps the fabric from fading (our first umbrella required a ladder to get the cover so it was rarely covered and the fabric faded quickly; the second had the pole for easy on and off and that fabric still hadn't faded). I prefer a square umbrella but only the round was available and it covers just as much area. It does swing back and forth in a breeze-as did the previous two-but I wouldn't put it up when it's really blowing or try to leave it up during a storm. It does fine with just a regular summer breeze but it is a little disconcerting at first when it starts to swing back and forth. I think this one will last longer than the other two. ... show more

We had a little bit of issue that came up during the shipping and they sent us the wrong Product. And I was a little disappointed that I had to put out a little bit of money in order to send it back. Didn’t think we had the wrong product and the box got ripped when we opened it. When we did get the Correct umbrella and we got it all up in place took a few minutes to kind of figure out how to configure it, but I am absolutely thrilled so far. The lights work the handle works, The foot pedal works. We ordered the square weight system, and we had a small issue with that as well, but that was resolved rather quickly and now it’s all put together and I couldn’t be happier and the timing couldn’t be better. I do have one question however it didn’t come with any instructions, but it did come with this white stick. It has rubber tips on either side. It’s hollow. It’s flexible. I'm giving 4 stars because the stand doesn't come with weights. You have to buy them separately but you're not really made aware of that until after it arrives and it topples over when opened. the weights are another $50-$70 depending where you buy them from. The umbrella is huge covers lots of space has great movement etc but the base is HUGE. Like takes up a few feet. Be prepared if you have a small area this isn't the umbrella for you. All of this aside, if you have the room once it's assembled it's amazing and worth it. The led lights are a nice bonus :) I would definitely buy again ... show more

We have a goldfish pond close to our above ground pool. In the afternoon, the sun gets really hot shining on the pond. Not only is the water hot for the fish, it also causes a lot of algae growth. This umbrella shades the pond but it easily turns around and hangs over the pool. Since it has the led lights, it makes the pool especially nice at night. ... show more

This is a great umbrella! Sadly we had to return because our deck is 30' long but the width is only 7' wide. We are desperate for shade and had hoped we could make this work. For the full potential of this umbrella you will need a wider space to be able to move it like it's meant to for maximum shade as the sun moves. Our deck and the side of our condo and sliding doors did not allow for this movement. The canopy material seemed thick and durable and was impressed by it. The metal base 'feet' length is long (wish I had measured for the review) and because cantilever umbrellas tend to be "squirrley" in the wind it definitely needs the weights recommended or secured in another way. This umbrella is HUGE and seems well built. Buyer beware…. Unless you’re mounting this umbrella on a wooden deck and you can screw the cross base down, you WILL need the weighted base with this. The umbrella with supplied base WILL NOT support itself alone. Luckily I purchased the water filled base extra or I would have been in a pickle. This thing puts a lot of shade, the solar lights work great and it’s easy to take up and down. The entire pole can rotate 360° and you can set umbrella at certain angle. I’ll be keeping this down and tied when not in use, not sure how much wind it can handle and don’t want to find out. We’ve lost every umbrella we own from high winds. My only complaint is that it’s not waterproof. I was sitting outside last night during the thunderstorm and the rain was dripping through onto me. So much so that I had to go inside. 🥲
