  • Perfect
Works perfectly for our golf cart and it now speeds and lasts forever

  • Working great
I bought one of these 36 volt 60 ah golf cart batteries to replace a set of Trojan 105 FLA on an EZGO PDS cart. I don't need a lot of range on this cart as I never run it more than a few miles a day and can charge it every night. I put a piece of plywood over the battery rack, strapped it down, and put it to work. It has done it's job very well, and it's nice to not have to deal with all the issues of a lead acid pack. One issue that is just to be expected with any lithium is that removing all that weight made the ride rougher and I lost a whole lot of traction. This is an off road cart, and I got it stuck in mud holes that wouldn't have been a problem before. I put a couple of the lead acids back in to add 120 pounds of weight and to provide power to the winch and lights. That seems to have solved the problem. The only question now is how long it will last. Considering that the cost was far less than a new lead acid pack, this looks like a great buy right now. ... show more

  • So light! If you're switching from regular batteries you might need a new solenoid
We just received this today and we're so excited. Took out all of our old batteries and charged this one. Watch out because it makes your golf cart a lot faster!! I first put a bad review on here because we had it charged up and took it out and it lasted about 20 minutes. Really wasn't sure what was going on. Found out that we needed to upgrade our solenoid. It was only 10 volts we needed to up it to 36 volts. Now it runs just fine. So if you're moving up from six regular batteries to this one you'll definitely need to do that. We, like the other person that posted about it not holding a charge, were upset at first. So don't blame the battery update your solenoid. ... show more

  • Battery failed - customer service made it right
We installed this battery in an E-Z-GO golf cart. It's only been 2.5 months and it has only been used a handful of times (rarely all the way to empty). Now you can fully charge it and within 1 hour of use or so it is completely dead. After contacting customer service, they allowed us to return the battery and they gave us a refund. I will attempt 1 more battery for them to see if it was a fluke. I changed the rating due to the customer service department. ... show more

  • Will trip BMS if cart is modified
The Positives = The battery is light weight, I now get 18miles per charge and this is with all the lights on, and stereo blastin'. I gained 4mph just swappin' it out form my old lead wet cell batteries. It only takes 2 hours to get full charge, so the down time is minimal. The negatives = The BMS trips when you floor it, or if you are going up hill and go more than 1/2 throttle. The only way to reset it is to hook up the battery charger to it. You find this out when you are 2.4 miles from your house. I do not recommend a battery with a BMS system installed on it. ... show more

  • Used in an old EZ Go 36v cart. We shall see if it’s reliable long term.
I researched whatever I could get for a soccer club golf car that got 4 years out of Pb acid cells and came up to these. They can be bought for less money direct from the company’s website, but I was able to purchase a 3 year warranty off of Amazon in case this company disappears. The golf cart is used 4 or 5 months out of the year with the batteries minimally maintained which meant the Pb acid batteries were overcharged at times, I water watered other times or left with the batteries in a partial state of charge other times. Terrible for them. The hope is that this chemistry will not degrade nearly as quickly. Even though the capacity on paper is about 1/3 (60 vs 200 aH) the couple miles it gets driven per day didn’t need maximum range. It just needs to last. If they die prematurely, I’ll report back as much. If they last over 1/2 a decade (my hope for them) I’ll also try and report back. They cost about $200 than the cheapest set of 6 6V GC2s so if I can get 5 years out of them, they’ll have met a similar price point. I’m happy to not have to worry about watering. I did opt for 1 36v unit vice placing 3 12v units in series in hopes that a single charge controller managing all the cells in one case might be less problematic. It would have been a little cheaper to go the 3x12v route. As a side note, this one battery weighed less than a single one of the 6 GC2s if replaced. I did have to construct a wooden stand for it to sit in and used some straps to hold it in place. It was narrower than the GC2 it replaced, making it not fit in the existing tray. ... show more
