I've been using this mag holder for 3 years now, and it works as good as the day I got it! Picked up a second one now so I can leave one set on my vest, and the other for my belt. Fits most pistol magazines except for small .380s down to .22s, especially single stacked small calibers. Single stack 9mm to double stack .45 ACP all fit with ease and snuggly so you don't have to worry about them falling out. Can't say anything for the .50AE though, don't own one, but by looking at the cartridge, I'm not so sure it would fit well. Good CQC molle and civilian 2x magazine holster. ... show more

I wear my mags horizontal....I got tired of the ole skoool flap mag pouch cause everytime I leaned over my tac vest would unsnap my mag pouch....this mag pouch remedied the issue. Its sturdy too!

30 year LEO. I've used a couple different kydex open top mag pouchesxover the last few years. My favorite for quality and retention is the FAB defense. This may be just as good ( need more time with it). Initial impression is very good quality. The ease of install and removal with the " blade tech" type of attachment clip is outstanding for convenient and quick swap outside. The retention is excellent for my G17 and G19 mags. The retention adjustment is easy and stays put ( so far). If this thing holds up at this price point then I have a new favorite at a better price than my old favorite. ... show more
