Comes with four anchor screws. Make sure you follow the instructions to set the password and fingerprints. Press the reset buttons and register your each finger three times. Repeat for the next fingerprint. If you don't follow the instructions, any fingerprints will open the safe. Ignore the reviews from others that any fingerprints will open the safe.     • Overall, happy with the purchase! Great deal for the price.
Not bad for the price! The box came with very good padding, I guess they've improved based on the reports of damaged shipments.. Overall, if your security expectations are not very high, this should do just fine. Pros: - Large, should be a good fit for most use cases. I've almost bought a case that was too small for my use case; this one is MUCH bigger than what you can normally get for this price. - Inexpensive! - Looks slick; actually, it's the same style as most other safes so you can pair them together if you already have a small one - Easy to install -- 4 holes, just screw any 2 of them to a stud. - Easy to use and program - Not very heavy -- can be handled by one person who goes to the gym.. or has some good skills handling bulky objects... or is just very determined. Just don't damage your floor if you drop it. - Packed REALLY well, no damage. Cons - Small issues with workmanship: one screw missing from inside the door (easy to replace), door is naturally wobbly, probably because to lock holes are too large. Fixed by adding furniture leg padding in a couple of places (also helps with noise when the door is closed). - Fingerprint feature... so there was a comment here that this feature is very not secure because it just lets you in no matter which finger you use and that was EXACTLY the first experience I've had with the safe. But then I've realized that it wasn't set up correctly: you need to wait for the proper confirmation signal that the safe accepted your fingerprint setup (can't finish halfway!!) and I think you need to change the pin to something other than 1234. Anyway, right now it works great. So I guess the complaint is about this setup quirk. - Doesn't seem too secure. At least that's the impression -- I didn't try to force it open yet. Should probably be ok if you want to hide stuff from your child, but do store your ammo in a separate place just in case... yea maybe not inside at all because: - Keys.. I've got 4 keys and as I understood from the manual, 2 of them should be for the front door, and 2 for the internal compartment. But they are all interchangeable and I can open both the front door and the internal box with any 1 of the 4 keys. - The alarm feature is kind of a joke since it's not very loud or long (can't expect much from AA batteries) -- you can hear it from the adjacent rooms but not across a larger house. ... show more

I was hesitant when I read the reviews, but it is exactly what I needed. Packaging was amazing, and came with no problems. Setup was extremely easy to follow and figure out. It is not the thickest but definitely better than many of the cheap sheet metal ones you see from big chain stores. The size is a bit tight, but it does in fact fit as described. Pretty sure the one I got may have already been broken into. One star for the fact that they failed, I guess.. Some screws were loose so possibly they put it back together and resold it. Long story short, you get what you pay for and this thing was beat all to h3ll with only half the box still intact. Also it came with instructions on ‘how to put a deck box together’… don’t buy it if you’re actually looking for a SAFE. I could probably break into it with my box cutter…I’ll provide an update tomorrow if I can. Real talk there was an instruction book for how to put together a plastic deck box shoved in the side of the open cardboard box housing the safe. Don’t buy this POS. ... show more

The safe was delivered very quickly, more quickly than I expected. I was able to read the instructions that came with it and get things set up quickly. The personal password and fingerprint scan set up was very smooth. I was able to test out the fingerprint scan on multiple people and worked well, recognizing only the prints that were added. Safe opens up quickly as well. One interesting function is the outer 9V socket that can connect an external 9V battery to power up the keypad. We accidentally locked the manual keys inside the safe during set up and were able to plug a battery externally in order to finish setting up the keypad. Package arrived damaged, top is scratched and dented. Would have to be in the front. Satisfied with safe and operation, instructions good. Paint job not great. Would be hard to return, awkward and packaging ripped. If I keep it, I should get a "scratched and dented" price.

The safe came as described. And was packaged well. No dents or deformities. It's really sturdy also. It was a little unstable on the floor (but could be my floor is uneven), I fixed that with some cardboard pieces underneath. It has slots for 5 rifles, but deep enough to hold more. I was able to set the code and multiple fingerprints without any problems. ... show more

The box showed up with all types of rips and tares on it. The safe was ok after full inspection. So packaging sealing up could be a little better. Only issue I have with the safe is the finger reader only works part time and loses memory as well. Keypad works each time. Also if you have a shotgun with a external pad on it for young adults, you will have to remove it each time you put guns away. I thought my shotguns would not fit but realized this pad made it too tall for my sons gun. I will say this safe is made of thin metal as well. But for 300 bucks it suits what I wanted for locking up guns. ... show more
