Two heat settings (high 1500W and low 750W) put out reasonable heat, but CANNOT be used as a main heat source. The thermostat can control the room temperature to suit the user's preference. The countdown timer can be set to turn off the fireplace from 30 minutes to 9 hours

Installation instructions were not the best, but the install was pretty straight forward. I built an entertainment center and had a hole cut into the 3/4" plywood to install this fireplace. I had to add to the bottom of the hole in order to support the fireplace and to help keep the face of the fireplace parallel with the face of the plywood. The end product is very nice looking and functions properly. It's not going to be primary heat but does add a bit of warmth to the immediate space. The only thing that is a downside is the fan is not unnoticeable (I'm probably being a little greedy), it's not super loud but it also seems a little louder than necessary for how much air it moves. ... show more

Love this fireplace. Looks great and enough choices of colors. Love the wood branches besides crystals as they add dimension to the fire. Remote is easy to use and heating unit works well if needed.

Most realistic flame of all I looked at. Quiet. Large selection of bed colors. Few different flame colors. But these don’t matter as I just want the realistic look. The heater leaves a lot to be desired. Actually pretty disappointing, but not a deal breaker.

Love the look of this fireplace, colors are beautiful and realistic. Only thing I would say is do not order for the heat, output severely lacks and only flows from the middle of the unit. Other than this I’m happy with my purchase.

Fireplace works great, easy to install. The description says you just need a standard outlet, but it doesn't mention that the blower motor pulls 12.5 amps, which means this fireplace needs to be plugged into a 20-amp circuit or at a minimum be on its own dedicated 15-amp circuit to avoid overloading the circuit and either causing a breaker to trip or worse. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. So I bought this fireplace for my front entry room. It blows off a far amount of heat, which you can change the heat setting on the controller. You can change the color of of flame and stones in it. It does make some noise when you have the heater on, but nothing crazy….like a typical heater you may use. I love it and would buy it again! ... show more
