I've been searching quite a while for an office chair after permanently moving to remote work. We had several different types of expensive chairs at our office but I did not want to spend that kind of money (Herman Miller, Steelcase). I'm 5'2" and wanted a drafting height chair so I can keep my standing desk up higher and be able to sit or stand without constantly adjusting the desk height. I also wanted a chair with a foot rest and a seat width and depth that didn't make me feel like a child in an adult chair and this works great! The seat has a nice amount of cushioning (I was surprised) and the fabric is very smooth, soft and easy to move around on (I got the khaki color and love it). The fabric feels like it would be easy to clean. The arm rests are a thicker plastic but feel sturdy and are more than fine for my needs, just don't expect some comfy cushioned arm rests. The arm rests are snug but easy to move up and down. The back is a nice mesh, has a comfy shape and has a slightly adjustable lumbar feature. The adjustable height foot rest is an awesome feature. I can't believe the comfort and functionality of these chairs for the price. These are a good buy. I purchased two for my shop and will likely purchase a third. Good material, comfort, and plenty of height to work at tall workshop tables while also adjustable to fit under most shorter desks. You do have to put them together but its easy with the built in instructions and stamped directions on the cushion ("Front") to ensure you put them together easily. The welds for the foot rest ring were also good quality. They came with a installation tool and extra screws (a true sign of a quality company). I used my impact drill instead of their tool to make things faster with two chairs. You can't go wrong with these. ... show more

Assembly instructions (wording and pictures) were clear, fasteners came in a blister pack and were labeled clearly, Bolts came with lock tight already applied, allen/hex wrench supplied was long enough to assemble the product and give appropriate torque when tightening. Unpack: 5-10 mins., Assembly: approx 30 mins., Cleanup: approx 5 mins. Packaging mostly recyclable plastic bags, bubble wrap and corrugated cardboard was a plus. I did a lot of research to try and find a chair for use in a small studio that was 1) comfortable to sit at using an adjustable height desk, 2) sturdy but bulky and lightweight enough to easily move out of the way, and 3) easy to assemble, and 4) not super expensive. This chair delivered on all requirements. The seat is padded but not too much. I sacrificed padded arm rests to get a streamlined profile. The back of the chair has basic lumbar support but does not recline which I didn't need or want. It works perfectly with my Husky adjustable desk..which is actually a work table I got at HomeDepot. The chair was a snap to put together. After unpacking and unwrapping all the parts, it took about 20-minutes to put the chair together. I have used the chair for long periods and any discomfort I have experienced is due to sitting in one place too long...not the chair. What I have learned is that chairs are like beds and what works for one person maybe all wrong for another person. This chair worked for me. Good luck! ... show more

Very easy to assemble by myself right out of the box. Only tool I needed was some scissors to cut the tape and wrapping, otherwise came with everything needed for assembly. I like that I can adjust the height of both the chair and the footrest as well as the lumbar support to meet my needs. The chair cushion is very comfortable, much more so than I was expecting. This is a perfect fit for my sewing table so I don’t hunch over the machine, as it brings me up to the height I needed that my regular office chair couldn’t provide. The arms can be raised out of the way or at elbow level for support on the arms to the desk, providing relief on the shoulders. And as a bonus, I got to choose the pink chair because this chair is offered in a variety of fun colors, as well as standard office colors. I’m really happy with this purchase! ... show more

The chair is offered in lots of colors and all white which is hard to find. It also comes in a standard height and tall. Great options. It's comfortable. You can buy better wheels and even a heavier duty piston, for additional money. Keep in mind the heavier duty piston can raise the height a little and the better wheels also raise the seat height. Not a problem, unless you're leg length is shorter. The reason fir the 3 Stars is due to damage. The backing is a mesh material which is light weight. It was torn in shipping. The white base was also scratched in multiple places, something a little paint can touch up, but should you have to? I would order them again but next time I'd check for damages before putting it together. Not worth returning after assembly. I'll patch the tear. ... show more

...I usually ask at the various places I work to provide a tall task chair to use at the worktable I spend a lot of my time at, and they usually go cheap. And uncomfortable. So this time around I purchased my own chair to put in my kit to take to all my work places. The chair is super easy to put together, even with having more parts to put together than I anticipated. But it is a sturdy chair, comfortable, and when sitting for long periods of time, I'm well supported. I don't really like arms on my chairs, but the arms on this flip up out of the way and useful for getting into the chair, so I'm cool with them.
