fairly easy to put together. comfortable works fine except as others have said the foot rest does not stay in position. doesn't seem to go down when you feet are resting on it but the next day it's at the bottom.

This chair is so great for adjusting to different height tables. I am an avid crafter and have various height tables and I love that this chair is adjustable to the height needed at all my work spaces. It is also sooooo comfortable to sit in for long time frames. I also really like that the arm rest fold back if you don’t want them or if you want to get up easier. It also rolls around on nice wheels and swivels…doesn’t get any better than this chair!! ... show more

Was a little hesitant based on some reviews. Everyone has a different bias that adds confusion. I have had many expensive chairs that cost 2 to 5 times more than this through the year. For the money these are awesome value. The seat cushion padding is thick and material is decent and should last a few years. I use the chair at my work bench on rough garage floor. It roles much better than expected. It will be easy to replace rollers in the future if needed. The height adjustment works as expected and I haven't noticed any slippage. As with any hydraulic piston the heavier you are the more likely the piston will compress and leak air. The arm rests are hard plastic, not padded which is a much better longterm solution than pads that rip. I don't use the arm rests so this works great for me. If you use this in an office environment where you need an elbow rest then you may want to look elsewhere since these are very hard plastic. ... show more

Chairs can be very expensive. For the money, this one's pretty good. It's reasonably comfortable, it looks nice and it was easy to assemble. You can lower and raise it as well. All in all a good value for the money.

This chair was so easy to put together and works great! I recently raised my desk using some great bed risers (BTSD-home Bed Risers 6 Inch Heavy Duty Furniture Risers Adjustable Table Risers $16) so I could stand and work if I wanted to. I then realized, I might want to sit down at some point LOL, so I looked at many chairs and decided on this one. I'm so glad I did.
